"It's only getting worse, my lady," I said. "But the quests have started. The campers are on their way as we speak,"

Lady Athena nodded solemnly. Her stormy gray eyes seemed to calculate every possibility. The council of gods pondered over their looming problem. There was an airship right outside the force field of Olympus, trying to break in. Someone threw a grenade, which bounced from the field and exploded beside them.

"Can't we just blast them out of the sky?" Lord Ares asked.

"You know the rules, Ares. We cannot harm any human," Lady Hestia said from her new throne.

"We cannot do anything but wait and hope that our children finish their quests," Lord Poseidon sighed. "We have to prepare for a war just in case,"

"The war is inevitable. It will happen regardless of what we do to try and stop it," Lady Hestia said.

"If only they would eat more cereal," Lady Demeter interjected,"then they would be smart and healthy enough to know not to blast us,"

"It is unwise," Lady Aphrodite murmured, looking up from her compact mirror. "We will see to it that they are turned away,"

"Yes, we will. I will help with that," Lord Hermes said.

"Hey, don't leave me out! I can help too!" Lord Apollo exclaimed.

"What do you say about this, Athena?" Lord Zeus asked. Lady Athena, being the strategist of the gods, was always the one they asked when it came to times like this. She thought about it for a bit, her eyebrows scrunching up like how her kids would whenever they were thinking.

"We will stay as we are for now, but we will set up more defenses. Hermes, Aphrodite, and Apollo, you will try to have the mortals turn away for now. Hephaestus, you go with me later and we'll talk about gadgets and trinkets to defend Olympus. Everyone else, aunts and uncles, father, watch over your domains for now and just report whatever you hear, especially if it is about us or the other pantheons,"

"Then it is settled. We will follow Athena's plan," Lord Zeus said. "Chiron, you know what to do. Do not let any of our children leave the camp. It is too dangerous for them now,"

"Yes, m'lord," I replied. Lord Zeus swiped the Iris Message and closed off the connection. I hope Annabeth and Lou Ellen's quests both succeed. They have to.

I trotted off outside, heading towards the dining pavilion where everyone was having lunch. I stood in front of the very first table, as was my usual place. I stood up to my full horse height and cleared my throat, catching everyone's attention.

"Campers, I have just gotten word from the gods," I started. That got their focus, leaning on their seats, anticipating what I would say. "Due to dangerous circumstances, the gods have ordered the camp to be closed. Nobody else goes out, but we are to take those who need refuge, may they be Greek or Roman or from other pantheons. We need to stick together in times of danger like this."

There were murmurs and voices raised after that but I raised a hand to silence them.

"If you need to contact your family you may approach me after lunch. Everyone else, you may go back to normal camp activities after. That is all. Thank you," I said, dismissing them and going back to the Big House. I will Iris Message Annabeth and then Lou Ellen to see how they are doing.

I conjured a rainbow using the prism I kept by the rec room and said, "O Iris, goddess of the rainbow, accept my offering. Show me Annabeth Chase in Asia," I didn't know where specifically in Asia, but Lady Iris and I are friends and I hoped she would overlook that fact. She did. Annabeth's face appeared.

She was bloody and it was dark, and she was in a forest, looking around. Her eyes widened when she saw me.

"Chiron! What are you doing?" She asked.

"I just wanted to check up on you, dear. I could feel like something's wrong," I admitted to her.

"We're in a forest somewhere in Russia. From what I could understand there are some demigods here. Old ones, old families. some are legacies while some are children of minor gods who went around the world. They made a camp here in Russia. We don't know whose side they're on yet," Annabeth said.

"Do you need help?" I asked.

"No, Chiron. We can do this. Piper can charmspeak some of them while I translate their languages,"

"Take care then. Godsafe and godspeed,"

I swiped through the mist and made another call, this one to Lou Ellen.

The person you are calling is out of range or in the wrong area. Iris' voice said. But I old her to contact Lou Ellen in America. Where are Lou Ellen and her quest party?

A/N: This is a pretty late update lol I was really busy. Anyways, I'd love it if you checked out my new book, Roses are Red! It's mystery/thriller and I update once a month so the chapters there are pretty long.

Thank you for reading!
