Felix slammed his locker door shut, biting his bottom lip in frustration.  He wasn't mad at the fact that Jisung and his girlfriend were being all lovey dovey at lunch.  He was just sad that he didn't have anything like that for himself.  Stuffing his notebooks into his backpack, Felix wondered if he would ever find someone.  His friends kept reassuring him, but if he was that attractive, then why was he so alone?

Hyunjin waved him over, and Felix heaved a deep breath, trudging over, putting on a fake smile.

"Dude, you'll never guess what happened.  So, I decided to shoot my shot and ask Areum to hang out, and she said yes!  That's technically a date!"

Felix's face fell, his expression going blank.  "Great.  Happy for you."

"What's wrong?  You alright, bud?"

Felix laughed.  "Am I alright?  Thanks for asking now."  He turned on his heel and took the stairs to the rooftop.  There wasn't much up there.  In fact, there was just a whole lot of nothing and a nice view of the dizzying street below.  He was the only one who knew about this place, so he didn't really have to worry about Hyunjin finding him up here.  He paced around, taking his anger out on a rock by sending it over the edge.  His mind spun with frustration, but he had a class to get to, and he wasn't going to let his silly emotions stop him from letting his grades plummet.

After school, he wasn't surprised that his friends didn't wait for him, so they could all walk home together.  They all had someone else they'd rather spend their time with, it seemed like.  Felix looked up at the sky and groaned.  It looked like it was going to rain any second, and of course today was the one day he had left his umbrella at home.  Maybe he could make it to his house just before the rain caught him.  Felix began his walk, but it wasn't even a few steps before the clouds overhead burst, trapping him in a downpour.

Felix ran to the nearest bus stop, panting.  He pulled out his phone, and saw a 100% chance of rain and thunderstorms for the next hour.  There was no way he'd be able to get home at this rate, but he had to try.  Making sure his backpack was completely zipped up, he set out once again to brave the storm, but suddenly, the cold rain stepped pelting his body, and he saw a rosy shadow cover his hands.

You stood next to him, holding the umbrella up.  "Let's go inside.  It's getting crazy out here," you said.

A startled Felix looked you straight in the eyes and found himself unable to move for a second.  Your eyes were big and beautiful and full of genuineness.  A tint of red brushed over his cheeks, but the umbrella made the blush blend in.

She opened the door to a shop, shoving the both of you inside before the wind slammed the door shut.  You shook your head, noticing Felix was soaked from head to toe.  "You must be really cold.  Good thing I saw you, Felix."  She clamped a hand over her mouth.

"You know my name?" Felix raised an eyebrow.  "Have we met before?"

"We go to the same school.  I'm, um, friends with, um, Changbin."

Felix ditched his frown.  "Well any friend of Changbin's is a friend of mine," he grinned.  "What's your name?"

"Y/N.  Um, sorry if I seem creepy.  I promise I wasn't stalking you or anything.  This is my mom's pie shop, and I kinda watch people walk by since no one really comes in to buy anything on a rainy day.  I just happened to see you, and that storm didn't like that great.  I thought I'd come out and help you," she smiled, and Felix felt his stomach leap into his throat and his heart pound.

"Well your help was definitely appreciated," he grinned back, taking the towels she offered to try and dry himself.

"Why don't you sit by the fireplace and dry off a little longer?  I was watching the weather, and it's supposed to be just like this for at least an hour.  I can get you a piece of apple pie on the house, too."

"Are you sure?  I can pay-"

"Nah, it's alright.  I usually eat like three slices as an afternoon snack," you giggled.

So the two of you ate pie by the fire, talking and getting to know more about each other, and the two of you were almost sad when the rain stopped.  You stood up, the towel in your hands, and you began wiping Felix's hair, making sure it was at least damp so that he wouldn't get sick.

Felix's eyes focused on yours and then down to your lips that were pouted in concentration.  Out of nervousness and not knowing exactly what to do, he leaned up, pecking you on the lips.  He wasn't sure if the timing was right because he'd never really  been around girls or had any sort of experience.  You dropped the towel, nearly doubling over in laughter.  Felix wanted to hide in a hole and never come out, but you leaned in, pulling him in for a real kiss.  In the process, Felix slipped his arms around your waist, surprising you, and you fell into his lap, not that either of you minded.

"Um, you wanna stop by for pie more often?" you asked shyly.

"Don't worry, Y/N.  I have a feeling I'll be in here every day."
