You hated storms.  They were the only thing you were scared of.  Rain, you didn't mind, but it was lightning and the thunder that followed that scared you.  But you had to remind yourself that you were inside a huge brick building that was your high school.  And you were meeting Seo Changbin right now for tutoring.  He was really good at chemistry, and there was an upcoming test, and he had offered to help you out.  If only he could have suggested another day.  Basically everyone had left the school, and now you were wandering around the hallways, trying to find the room number he had texted you.

Finally, you stopped at the door and realized it was the private study lounge.  You guessed the other rooms must be locked up since everyone went home because of the storm.  However, there was a keypad, so you had to type a password in, but there was a problem.  You didn't know the password.  You felt someone behind you, and you turned around, realizing it was Changbin.  He put his strong arm around you, so that he could enter the password into the keypad.  You gulped, realizing how close the two of you were, and he smiled before pushing open the door and walking past you into the room.

Changbin pulled out his chemistry textbook and notes from his backpack and laid them out on the table.  "So, today we'll be learning the names of certain chemicals.  The lesson shouldn't be too long.  I didn't want to keep you too long because of the storm."

You nodded and sat down nervously beside him.  There was one window in the room, and you cursed silently, knowing that you would jump every time you saw lightning.  Changbin saw you eyeing the window, and he walked over to it, closing the blinds.

"Don't worry about the storm.  Let's just study well right now."

You concentrated as hard as you could, but it was really hard with the rain pounding against the window and the sound of thunder booming across the city.  And then, the thing you feared most happened.  The power went out.  You grabbed onto Changbin, clutching him so tightly that he started laughing.

"Y/N, are you okay?" he asked, placing a hand on your head and running his fingers through your hair.  "There's nothing to be scared of."

"I'm terrified of storms," you whimpered, and you felt Changbin put a protective arm around you and pull you closer to him.  Your head resting on his shoulder, and you felt him turn his head to look at you in the minimal light.

"You don't have to worry.  You have me."  Changbin took one of your hands and squeezed it with reassurance.  "I love the dark.  I love storms.  Let's try getting out of here," he whispered in your ear.

His warm breath tickled your ear, and you wanted to stay just like this, despite your heart racing in your chest.  He stood up, trying to open the door, but then he was hit with the fact that the door had an electric keypad, so if the power was out, then the door was locked and couldn't be opened until the power came back on.

By this time, both of your eyes had adjusted to the darkness.  Changbin found his way back to you and sat down, placing his arm around you again.  "It looks like we're stuck here for a while.  So tell me, why are you so scared of storms?"

You cleared your throat.  "When I was younger, a storm came through my town and ripped the place to shreds.  Everything I had known was gone in one night.  Everyone was okay, but there was no more stores and restaurants.  The storm took everything away, and it took a year or two for everything to go back to normal."

"You must've been scared," Changbin pouted, and then he wrapped his other hand around your waist, pulling you even closer.  "But, I'm here."

You gulped, cheeks flushing pink, and you knew Changbin couldn't see.  To be honest, you hadn't really been into Changbin at first.  But once you two started spending more time together and having tutoring sessions, you found yourself liking him.

"What happens if you're not there?" you asked.

Changbin smirked.  "I'll always be there."  He captured your lips with his, and you were surprised by the gesture.  One, because it was dark, and two, because the guy you liked was kissing you.  He tangled his fingers in your hair, and you slowly started kissing back.  The lights flickered before coming back to life, and the boy laughed at you.

"What?" you asked innocently while pulling up the camera on your phone, and you realized your lips were pink and swollen.  That was Changbin's fault.

"Maybe darkness isn't a bad thing," you said shyly.  "Let's get out of here before the power goes out again."

"I mean, I wouldn't mind," Changbin teased.
