She walked in wearing a bucket hat, frayed jeans, and a loose knitted sweater.  Mira was a popular American singer with a heck of a vocal range to say the least.  And now, she'd be collaborating with Stray Kids on their upcoming single.

There was only one catch.  Her manager had forgotten to arrange for a place for her to stay, so she'd be staying with Stray Kids in their dorm.  She wasn't too worried about herself, but she was kinda scared that the boys would feel uncomfortable having a female around.  Currently, they were all sitting around the living room, waiting for someone to say something, but no one had offered to break the silence in the last thirty minutes.

"I'm gonna wash up," Chan sighed finally, and the other members left to their respective rooms except for Felix.  He stayed, caught up on some game on his phone, but when he lost, he realized Mira was just awkwardly sitting there next to him.

"I'm sorry about all this," Felix said.  "The boys are really nice once you get to know them, but no one has ever really come to the dorms like this before, so they're a little taken aback."

Mira laughed.  "I totally understand."  She tried to ignore how divine that Australian accent paired with his low voice sounded.

"So, do you miss home?  I know you've only been here for a few days, but that's enough time for the homesickness to kick in."

Mira scratched her chin in thought.  "Nope, I never really get homesick.  Like sure, I miss my family, but that's about it.  There's no one else I'm really attached to."

Felix smiled internally.  No one else?  Did that mean she didn't have a boyfriend?

No.  He had to get it together.  He couldn't fall in love with someone who would be leaving in a month's time.

"I guess you remind me of myself.  When I first moved to Korea to become a trainee, I didn't exactly miss home either.  But you know what I used to do when I did start feeling homesick?"

Mira leaned froward in interest.  "Ooh, what?"

Felix held up a joystick.  "I'd play video games until dawn of course.  And then I'd be too tired to remember where I was and who I missed.  Wanna play some racing games?"

Mira pushed up her sleeves.  "Only if you're prepared to lose."

The two of them grew closer over the course of the month.  Anytime the boys went out to eat or even stayed in, Felix and Mira would be across from each other, laughing about something or the other.  They had created so many inside jokes that they could say a single word and just burst out laughing.

During the recording sessions, Mira was able to perfectly harmonize her voice with Felix's.  His low deep tone melded well with her soothing alto one.  The boys were quick to catch on to the pair's growing feelings.

It was finally the day the group got to hear the final version of the song along with the music video.  Felix watched Mira frame-by-frame.  All of this felt bittersweet.  He was glad the song had turned out so nicely, but this also meant it was the end of Mira's stay in Korea.  Now, it was time for her to jump to the next location to work on more music.  She'd soon forget about Stray Kids and the memories she created with Felix.

Mira wiped some stray tears from her face.  She didn't want to say goodbye and pretend like there wasn't something between her and the K-pop star.  She wrestled with her thoughts as the group drove her to the airport.  She already had other artists and producers waiting for her to record with them when she returned home.  She couldn't leave them hanging just because she had a crush.

But before she could be swallowed up in the airport security line, Felix pulled her aside.

"Mira, I've been thinking about this for a while, and I just wanted to let you know that I really, really like you.  Even though you've only stayed with us for a month, I feel like I've known you for a lifetime.  I know you'll be halfway across the world, but-"

She melted in his arms, and Felix bent down to capture her lips in a sweet kiss.  His bangs tickled her cheek, and Mira wrapped her arms tightly around his waist.  This was a feeling she never wanted to forget.

"Promise you won't forget about me," Felix sighed into her hair.  "I know it's selfish of me to say, but please don't move on.  I want to make this work."

Mira grinned into his shoulder.  "That makes the two of us.  I don't care what time it is, but whenever you're free, we can video chat.  Call me, text me, write me letters.  I just want to know how you're doing."

Felix pecked her cheek, and the other members gagged at the cheesy but cute romance unfolding before them.

1 year later...

Stray Kids ran on stage and hyped up the crowd in the arena that screamed wildly.  Felix launched into his rap and danced energetically along with the rest of the members.  The music transitioned into the song the group had collaborated on with Mira, and Felix tried his hardest to hide his frown.

Mira's verse played overhead, but this time, it sounded different.  The vocals sounded more present and filled the arena.  Felix spun around and dropped his microphone when he noticed her dancing in the center of the stage.

Felix forget everything- his lines, the choreography- as Mira ran towards him and enveloped him in a hug.  The familiar scent of her perfume made his heart thump wildly in his chest, and he pinched himself to make sure all of this was real.

Mira kissed him quickly and whispered into his ear.  "Wanna play racing games when we get home?"

Felix smirked as he ruffled her hair.  "Only if you're prepared to lose."

A/N: Thanks Autogirls for requesting this one!  Love doesn't always work out in situations like this, but I'm glad everything turned out okay in the end for Felix and Mira!
