Don't Forget About Me (Hyunjin)

Never in a billion years could Hyunjin predict he'd be jealous of his own child.  He watched you, his loving wife, tickle Areum's belly and hold her small hands.  You smiled warmly at your daughter.  The more love you showed baby Areum, the more Hyunjin's jealousy grew.  He didn't want to admit it, but he was eager for your attention.

One night, you had put Areum to bed a little earlier than usual to do some stress baking.  Recently, the baby and the bigger baby had been stressing you out.  Areum was a fussy eater, and these days, Hyunjin seemed to pout more than usual.

You sprinkled some flour on the countertop.  As you began to stretch the dough, you felt a pair of hands tenderly wrap around your waist.  Tonight, instead of his natural scent, you smelled cologne.  It was refreshing, and it made your heart pound the way it did when you first saw him across the college campus.  Long, blonde hair swept up in a man bun.  That was the Hyunjin you fell in love with.  He wore the same cologne and always had an impeccable sense of fashion.

"Pumpkin bread?" Hyunjin asked, laying his head on your shoulder. (replace Changbin with you in the gif below hehe)

"Mhmm.  Want to be my taste tester?" you asked.

Hyunjin's sharp exhale on the back of your neck startled you.  Spinning around, you noticed a different sort of gleam in his eyes.  It was tender yet desperate.  His eyes darted to your mouth, and you quickly found your lips on his.  His strong cologne overpowered your senses.  Hyunjin gently held your hands in his, not minding the dough and bread flower that caked them.

"Well, I didn't mean that sort of taste test," you mumbled shyly.  "Is everything alright?  You seem down lately."

Hyunjin watched you slide the bread to bake in the oven.  "I realized there's a lot of people who need your attention these days.  You're always busy with work and baby Areum... there's never any time left over for me."

He pouted cutely, and you wrapped him in a hug.  "How about cuddles while the bread bakes?" you suggested.

Immediately, your husband caged you in his strong arms and steered you towards the sofa.  He plopped you down and began playing with your hair.  Just when you felt like you could fall asleep from his calming touch, he pressed a kiss on the nape of your neck.  Every touch, every kiss- you could feel his desperation.

"Let's go on a date once every week," you proposed.  "Let's explore the city and eat at our favorite restaurants.  I'm sure Changbin and Felix won't mind babysitting Areum."

Hyunjin snorted.  "Will they babysit Areum, or will Areum babysit them?"

Nevertheless, he was excited.  He already had an idea for their next date.

---One week later---

"Hyunjin, it's been a while since we've tried this.  It kinda hurts," you whined.

"Shhh, it's alright.  We'll go slow," he smiled sweetly.

Hyunjin helped you adjust your position before starting the music again.  There was nothing better than a date like this where he could teach you his favorite dance choreographies.  The sound of his feet hitting every beat on the hardwood floors was incredibly satisfying.  You were tired, but seeing Hyunjin in his element made him look truly handsome.  His long, dark hair was raked back in his classic man bun, and you fell for him a little harder as he tried to help you learn each move.

"No matter how busy I get, I'll never love you any less," you murmured in awe as Hyunjin let his hair down.

"You better not!  By the way, do we want to bake again tonight?  I feel like we could do some taste testing," your husband winked.

"HYUNJIN!" you blushed furiously

He laughed and held his hands up in defense.  "I was talking about tasting more pumpkin bread.  Tsk tsk, so that's where your mind went, huh?"
