You glanced at your watch for what seemed like the hundredth time in the last five minutes. Jisung had told you he'd meet you outside the front of the company building, but where was he? Maybe he meant a different entrance, or you had typed in the address wrong, but you were pretty certain you'd gotten it right.
There was a sound of doors being swung open, and you heard heavy panting behind you. You whirled around and came face-to-face with a boy in a black baseball cap and tinted sunglasses.
"Look casual," he whispered as they walked side-by-side to the amusement park they had planned to spend the rest of the afternoon at. However, there was nothing casual about a boy dressed in all black with a hat and sunglasses on in broad daylight.
You'd been wanting to go to the amusement park for months now. They had opened it a year ago, and you were a sucker for roller coasters. Jisung had convinced his vocal teacher to let him take the rest of the day off so he could finally take you.
"Jisungie, I wanna ride that one!"
He laughed at how cute you were. Ever since he got his stage name, people only called him Han. Hearing his actual name roll off your tongue made his heart pound. Jisung quickly trailed after you, and you basically yanked him onto the carousel. It wasn't a roller coaster, but it was still just as fun to you.
As a kid, your parents would take you to the amusement part with your older brother. Back then, you were scared of the fast-paced rides, so you settled for the carousel. You remembered loving looking at the different colored horses with their beautiful embellishments. Your favorite one as a kid had been a lavender one with roses in different hues.
Your eyes settled on a horse that was very similar. Instead of the soft, lavender color, this one sported a mint coat. Jisung snagged a seat on a stallion with a gorgeous magenta mane next to you. As the mechanical masterpiece started whirring to life, you clasped onto your own horse's mane, staring up at the rotating beams overhead. Jisung couldn't help but stare at the beauty beside him. You were always insecure about your flaws, but Jisung saw none. He loved moments like these where you were lost in your own world and he could watch your eyes glint with happiness.
The ride ended after a couple rounds, and Jisung bought the two of you cotton candy to eat while you thought about what ride to get on next. He led you to a bench where you looked over a map.
"There's the Tower of Doom, and Zero to Hero sounds pretty cool too!" you exclaimed while stuffing a wad of cotton candy in your mouth.
Jisung's eyes drifted down to your lips that were tinted pink from the melted sweet confection. There was a little tuft of cotton candy at the corner of your mouth.
He slowly turned your head towards him and leaned in for a gentle kiss. The taste of cotton candy made you two giggle. Jisung leaned in again, his bangs tickling your nose as his lips melded perfectly with yours. The bill of his hat kept hitting your forehead, so he took it off and placed his hands around your waist.
You pulled away, gasping for air but then jumped in your spot when you saw Jisung's manager standing in front of you.
Jisung scrambled to his feet, launching into a bow, but his manager's piercing gaze was still fixed on your form.
"I detested you from the beginning. You cause nothing but trouble!" Jisung's manager raised his voice. The scene grabbed the attention of young people nearby, and Jisung reached for his baseball cap. He quickly placed it on your head and handed you his sunglasses.
If anything got out about a scandal, he didn't want the world to see your face and think you were the bad guy.
"You know Jisung is not allowed to date! Why would you go out of your way to help him break the contract?!"
You stared at the manager in dumbfounded silence. "I'm sorry. I couldn't control my feelings for him. They were too strong."
"Foolish girl. There are so many fish in the sea. Why would you go for this one?!!"
Jisung's manager was practically screaming now, but Jisung knew if he tried to step in and quell the flames, it would only add to the fire.
You fidgeted with the hem of your blouse as you took all the harsh words Han's manager threw at you.
"WHOA WHOA WHOA, can you CHILL?"
Jisung, you, and the manager whirled around to be met with a whole group of girls around your age.
"We're Stays. And trust me, we knew about their relationship way before you did, Mr. Manager."
Other girls chimed in, and the manager backed up.
"You girls knew? Stays knew? But don't fans hate it when their favorite idols date?" the manager asked slowly, suddenly realizing how many of them there were.
The main girl in the front snorted. "We hate it even more when people our idols cherish are snatched away from them. We've been keeping an eye on Y/N for a while. When it rains, she offers Han her jacket and umbrella and pretends she's fine but catches a cold later. When he's tired from dance practice, Y/N sneaks into the building with food for not just him but the group. She makes homemade food for each of them!"
Han's manager raised his eyebrows in surprise and looked at Jisung who smiled proudly.
"And when he's sick, I visit him and feed him soup to nurse him back to health," you added. "I try to come to every concert, every dress rehearsal, every event they have. I give him motivation when he needs to stay up and write lyrics. I remind him to eat, bathe, sleep. I text him first thing when I wake up and last thing before I go to bed. I cherish the little time we physically spend together. The last time we went on a date was three months ago."
The main Stay nodded, gesturing to the camera hanging from her neck. "I can confirm that."
Han stepped forward, swinging a sturdy arm around your shoulders. "I may be an idol but she's my true idol," and he sighed in relief as he watched his manager crack a smile.

A/N: I realized that before I got into Kpop, my definition of an idol was really different. I thought of an idol as someone you admire or look up to. It's funny to think how that definition has changed a bit, but I still look up to a lot of idols. I love how Stray Kids continues to charge ahead with their unique style of music, regardless of what people might think. Some of their songs are unconventional with melodies that you'd have to listen to a few times through to process completely, but that's what I love about their music so much! Thanks KatrinaRoy2 for requesting this!
Question of the imagine: Who's your idol? I really look up to my parents. I always see them working really hard and it motivates me to try my best every day. Sometimes, we go through really hard moments in life, but when I think of my parents, everything seems okay. So who is someone you guys look up to?
