A herd of fangirls pushed past you, running to the front of the room.  There were three long tables that had been pushed together and sitting behind those tables were the boys you were in love with- GOT7.  You were totally Jinyoung biased.  After watching thousands of V-LIVES, you realized he made you laugh the most.  He didn't say much, but when he did, he had you laughing until tears leaked from your eyes.

You stood on your tiptoes, trying to get a glimpse of the boys.  You weren't tall enough to see over the crowd, and you were just about to give up when you heard someone behind you.

"Do you want to get on my shoulders?"

You turned around to see a tall handsome boy with longish hair.  "Do you want to get on my shoulders?  I can carry you... or since this is a GOT7 fan meet, should I say I can hard carry you?"

You burst out laughing.  "Stop stop it."

"Never ever," he stuck out his tongue.

"Whoa, that was a good one," you breathed.  "I've never met a GOT7 fanboy.  You seem really cool."

"I know.  Most people can't handle my swagger," he winked.  "You seem cool too, though.  Not like those girls," he gestured to the ones invading the idols' personal space.  "Can you keep a secret?"

You nodded.  "I don't have any friends to tell secrets to, so you don't have to worry."

The guy laughed but quickly stopped when he realized you weren't laughing with him.

"I wasn't joking," you sighed.  "Whatever, what's your secret?"

The boy leaned closer.  "I'm an idol trainee, and I really want to be just like Jinyoung one day.  I want to be a really amazing idol and wow people with my visual.  But I think I fell for him after seeing him act in Legend of the Blue Sea.  I want to act one day, too."

"Wow, that's amazing!  I'll start stanning you from right now.  Wait, I should get your autograph in advance.  And you definitely can't forget about me once you debut."

The boy laughed again, and at this point, you wanted to record his laugh and save it as your wakeup alarm.  It was so cute.  "I'm Hwang Hyunjin.  Also, about what you said earlier.  I want to be your friend.  I don't know why people don't want to be friends with someone as amazing and as cute as you."

You blushed but then realized Hyunjin had used the word friend.  You stared at the ground for a few seconds.  It had been silly to expect anything more.

"I actually used to have a lot of friends.  I guess you could say I was a really bland kid back then.  And then all of a sudden, I discovered different hobbies I was really good at.  I even reached national level championships for swimming and won awards for art competitions.  Then my friends realized that I was a threat to them.  They didn't want me to be better than them.  They would pretend to be my friends to my face, but behind my back, they would say awful things."  You stared hard at the ground again.  You weren't sure why you were telling Hyunjin all this.  If anything, he probably thought you were more of a loser than you already appeared to be.

"You must have gone through a hard time," he replied softly.  "At times like those, you really need someone to be there for you.  Also, don't worry about those friends.  If they can't see you for who you are, tell them to get glasses."

His words comforted you.  "Thanks," you mumbled.  "I'm sorry for spoiling the mood.  Fan meets are supposed to be super exciting."

"Don't be sorry.  I actually should say sorry for not finding you sooner.  It breaks my heart hearing how someone like you suffered so much because of your friends."

You smiled.  "Yeah, they're not really my friends anymore, so it's okay.  They just sorta still think of me as a nobody."

"I know how to fix this.  All you need is a really hot but intellectual boyfriend.  That'll show them that you only deserve the best."

"Wait, but where am I supposed to find a guy like that?"

Hyunjin stared at you like the answer was obvious.  "Duh, you're looking right at him."

Your eyes met his.  They drifted upwards to his messy yet stylish hair.  His lips melted into a smile.  This seemed like a dream.

"I mean, you can totally refuse.  Don't feel burdened by coming up with a reply right now.  I'll give you my number, and if you feel like it, we can go on some dates before giving this whole relationship thing a try?"

You blushed.  "I wouldn't mind."  The two of you quickly exchanged numbers.  "You're not doing this because you feel sorry for me, right?  I hate being pitied the most."

"Pity and crushing on a girl are two very different emotions.  And I know my heart doesn't beat this fast when I pity people.  So, you're willing to let me become your biggest fanboy?"

You giggled.  "Sure, but I'm not too sure Jinyoung would be too happy about that."

A/N:  So I tried using a different style for this imagine.  It was more dialogue-based, but I hope you guys still liked it!  Thanks theamazingpotterhead for requesting this imagine, and sorry for the delay!

Question of the imagine:  Have you ever supported your friends when they do well in something and then when you do well, they get kinda jealous?  This has happened to me so many times where I would do something really cool and receive an award and some of my "friends" would pretend to be nice but talk about me behind my back.  I'm not sure why they did that, but I'm glad they're not a part of my life anymore.  What about you guys??
