You twirled around in your velvet dress, excited for the dinner party celebrating 100 days of Stray Kids being an official K-pop group. Chan was glad the manager wanted you to come along. Even though you were Chan's girlfriend, all of Stray Kids, including the manager, basically adored you. Whenever the atmosphere was down or the boys were tired, you were there to pick up the energy and make them smile.
Chan walked over to you, asking you for help with his tie. He was still getting used to wearing suits and adjusting to the idol life post-debut where suits and tuxedos were a big thing. You tied the knot, making sure he looked perfect before giving him a nod.
"You look so handsome," you noted, tousling his hair gently before trailing a finger down the side of his face and along his defined jawline.
"And you're beautiful," he smiled, and there were other things he wanted to add to that, but you were going to be late if he said anything else. "Let's go."
The two of you ran to the building, you doing the best job you could in your heels. And once you got to the venue, everyone turned their heads in your direction. Chan noticed Hyunjin's eyes wandering around your figure, and the leader pulled you closer to his side and slipped an arm around your waist, shooting Hyunjin a smile.
"We're here today because Stray Kids has come long and far and finally made it to 100 days!" Lee Know said. "Chan, you should say a few words. It'll be good practice for the V-live we're doing later tonight."
Chan smiled sheepishly. He both loved and hated giving speeches. He loved them because you always told him how cool he sounded when he spoke. He hated them because he could never figure out exactly he wanted to say until after he had messed up a couple times.
"We started off as trainees. And then, we found ourselves on a debut survival show. But here we are, all nine of us, as Stray Kids today. Isn't that so amazing?"
All the members clapped and Jeongin even did his high-pitched whistle that made the rest of them laugh like crazy. You grinned. It made you happy seeing the members happy.
"Y/N, why don't you give a small speech, too?" Changbin asked, and Chan smirked realizing that Changbin was trying very hard to look at your face and only at your face.
"Me? Uh sure. I knew Chan back when he was trainee, and I saw how hard he had to practice and how much energy he put into everything. I know all of you definitely went through the same hardships, but what matters is that you went through it together and came out together. And your fans have supported you from your time on the survival show until now, and they will continue rooting for you because you guys have a dream, and they want to see you keep dreaming."
Chan would have to ask you to write his speeches from now on. They were so beautiful just like you. But what kept bothering him was that throughout the whole dinner, the members kept glancing over at you, and it wasn't the kind of look Chan liked. He ate as fast as he could, and as soon as his plate was empty, he grabbed your hand and stood up. "I need to go change and get ready for the V-live, but I'll meet you guys soon!"
You looked at him, confused. Chan obviously could wear the same thing, so you didn't know why he was changing, but you followed him out, and he turned to look at you.
"What's wrong?" you asked, noticing his slightly frustrated expression.
"It's not exactly your fault, but at the same time, it is."
"What did I do? Did I accidentally chew with my mouth open, or something?" You genuinely didn't remember doing anything wrong.
Once you got back to the room, Chan told you. "That short velvet dress of yours was driving the members wild." He started walking towards you until your back hit the wall, and there was nowhere for you to go.
Chan attacked your lips, letting one hand get tangled in your hair and the other around your waist, pulling you closer. Your bodies were pressed together, and your cheeks flushed pink from the electricity. You pulled away for a second to catch your breath, and Chan took his fingers and placed them on your chin, gently tilting your head upwards. He kissed down your neck until he reached your collarbone. You usually always wore t shirts, so he knew that spot would always be hidden. He was about to leave a mark, but he looked up and met your eyes.
"Are you okay?" he asked, and you nodded, a bit flustered. "Sorry, I got carried away."
You threw your hand around his neck and pulled him in for another kiss, but this one was light and delicate, very unlike the first one Chan had initiated.
"I won't wear that velvet dress again," you laughed, and Chan hugged you tightly.
"I don't know what I did to deserve you," he said while booping your nose.
