Brad's alarm went off at 5:15 and he got up. I heard him eat breakfast quickly and then grabbed his bag.
Brad: see you in class babe, I love you
Me: mm love you
Brad left and then my alarm went off at 6:15. I got up and got dressed. I grabbed a banana and a protein bar before going to the training room.
Hooker: Savannah, how are you feeling?
Me: pretty good, it's only a little sore
Hooker: well let's do some exercises and then we'll lock it out
Me: alright
I did my exercises and then surprisingly my arm locked out fairly easy.
Hooker: any pain?
Me: a little but not nearly as much as it was
Hooker: good that's how it should be.
Me: well I will see you later
Hooker: bye Savannah
I went to soccer fields and stretched and talked with the girls. Dino and Anson came in and Anson called me over while Dino talked to the rest of the girls.
Anson: how are you feeling?
Me: great, I have way less pain now
Anson: that's awesome, I emailed all of your professors for you
Me: thank you. I really appreciate it
Anson: of course, and for your study hours, make sure you get them by Saturday
Me: I will
I went back to the group and we went into drills before working on crosses. Practice ended at 9 and Anson walked with Duke and me to my car.
Anson: are you good to still run breakfast club?
Me: yes, I will be back tomorrow morning
Anson: perfect, I will see you tomorrow
Me: see you Anson
I picked up breakfast and then went to calculus. The class was mostly review since we had our first chapter test tomorrow. Class ended at 11 and so Brad and I could get an hour for study hours we went to the student-athlete center. We got out at 12:30 and grabbed lunch before going to lunch at 1. Our professor lectured while Brad took notes. Chem ended at 1 and Duke and I went to my apartment. I called Hope while I found a snack.
Hope: hey Baby Horse
Me: hey
Hope: how is your elbow?
Me: it great actually, already way less pain
Hope: that is great, what classes do you have today?
Me: I've already had calculus and chem, I have biology at 5 and cheer at 8
Hope: have you weighed yourself?
Me: no I haven't but I am meeting with Jackie on Friday
Hope: good
Me: yup
Hope: are excited for your first game on Saturday
Me: yeah
Hope: is Brad going to play?
Me: actually, I think he might be starting
Hope: what about their number 1
Me: he's a sophomore, their real number 1 graduated last year. Also from what I've seen Justin and Brad are the best duo out there
Hope: do you really think they are going to start two freshmen?
Me: they've done it before, plus Brad was the number 1 recruit in the nation and Justin was number 6
Hope: I guess
Me: yeah, well I need to look over my notes and finish and assignment
Hope: alright, bye SB
Me: bye mama
I hung up with Hope and then finished the biology work that was due online before 5. I hit enter and then headed to class. The professor lectured the whole hour and then Kiley, Brad and I went to meet Justin for dinner. I ate quickly and then went to get my brace set at the training room to get my brace set. Kiley met me outside with Duke and we walked to cheer. We worked on stunts the whole time and then Coach Walters huddled us up.
Walters: Tonight, was our last practice before our walkthrough on Saturday. Now I want you there dressed and ready at 10. Practice is from 10:30 to 12:30 and then I want you back at 5:30. I will send out a message of what you are wearing. You are free to go.
We all left, and Duke and I went to my apartment. I showered and then fed Duke before going bed.
