Multiple {Preference} ~ How You Wake Each Other Up

Jace - Jace doesn't like to wake up and sometimes he does but pretends to be asleep so he doesn't have to get up, but if you hover freshly cooked bacon under his nose or tease him about seeing a cute guy on the street, he shoots up in bed instantly. When he wakes you up, a gentle shake of the shoulder, a whisper of your name or a simple alarm clock usually does the trick considering you're a light sleeper.

"Jace, wake up"

*fake snores*

"Jace, I know you're awake"

*louder fake snore*

"Hey, I saw this really cute guy the other day"

"Cute guy? What? Who? I'll kill him!... Do I smell bacon?"

Magnus - Funny Joke. You don't wake him up. Trying to wake him up is like trying to get someone who is dead to be alive again. Magnus certainly loves his beauty sleep and god rest anyone who dares to interrupt it. If he's previously told you to wake him up for a meeting or something important though, you agree but warn him that the ways in which you might try may be nasty. He always agrees but always gets angry when you throw ice water on him when yelling his name at the top of your lungs doesn't work.

"What the hell Y/N?"

"You told me to wake you up"

"Yeah, I said wake me up, not drench me in ice water!"

"Well, learn to wake up when I scream your name then. Jesus, Bane!"

Simon - Simon is used to waking up early for school, band practice, etc. so you rarely if ever wake him up. He, however, wakes you up constantly. This proves to be quite the challenge for Simon considering the fact that you hate getting up int he morning and if someone were to call you a morning person, they would be ridiculously stupid. Because of this, Simon must resort to drastic measures such as tickling your feet, screaming your name in your ear, setting 10 different alarm clocks and moving them out of reach, pulling the covers off of you and, sometimes, literally dragging you from the bed by your ankles.

Raphael - You're both light sleepers and are usually quite restless so you both tend to sleep in. However, neither wake the other up since, as soon as you started sleeping in the same bed, it was like your body clocks synchronised and so when one wakes up, the other does too, almost immediately. It's eerie but convenient.

"Morning"

"Morning, mi amor"

Izzy - Izzy likes her sleep but also likes looking good so she gets up about an hour before you need to. She typically has the job of waking you up with which she doesn't bother calling your name as it never works and instead pokes you relentlessly until you get so annoyed you get up.

"ARRGH! DAMN IT, IZZY"

Clary - You both just use alarm clarks. Mundane, I know. But it just seems to work for you both. Though, normally, you're the first one out of bed and so you usually make her a strong cup of coffee and, when the smell hits her nose, she rouses from sleep, a grateful, sleepy smile on her face

Alec - Alec likes to sleep in, sometimes, but is so used to waking up he just naturally wakes up like clockwork at 5:30 in the morning. He never gets you up before at least 7:00 though and while he waits, he usually watches TV, reads a book or just watches you sleep or cuddles you because he loves how peaceful you look when you're sleeping. When he does wake you up, however, he does is gently and usually with some sort of physical contact; a tender stoke on the cheek, a soft kiss of the lips, a flurry of kisses all over your face, a muted whisper of your name. It's usually gentle and soft when he wakes you up and it always wakes you up, no matter how small the touch or how soundless the whisper, it's almost like you're just fine-tuned to his voice, to his touch, and it's all you need to wake up...other people, however, it's like trying to wake up a log. Impossible. Alec's basically your personal alarm clock.

Sorry if Alec's prefs are longer or sweeter or whatever but I'm an Alec girls so...duh lol
