You exhale nervously, your breath shaking as you take a look at yourself in the mirror.
It was a lot.
Something you'd never thought you'd wear in your life.
But, earlier that day, you'd been shopping for some new clothes and had drifted into a lingerie store...and then you'd found this, what you were wearing now.
It was brave, bold and, to you, it seemed like something a Shadowhunter stripper would wear.
You'd never investigated into the world of lingerie with your previous boyfriends, they'd never lasted this long but for Alec...you didn't know why but you felt like you wanted to put more effort into this relationship and so...you'd bought it.

It had been a job in and of itself to put the damn thing on. There were so many clasps and buckles and straps, it was like trying to wriggle out of torn netting.
You take another deep breath in, steadying your nerves and racing heartbeat. Before you could reconsider what you were doing, you open the door and exit the bathroom, your bare feet padding softly along the hardwood floor.
