"What is that even supposed to mean?"He growled.
"Why didn't you tell me there was danger? That there was someone who breached my room just to use me against you?" I said. Tears were still flowing down my cheeks.
He scoffed. "That means your smell near the hall was just not a mere coincidence. You were eavesdropping!"
"Your call! If thats what you think then that is it. I'll prove to you AlphaKing, that I am not a futile! Its better that you insert that to that good brain of yours!! I'll go myself," I cried and a sobbed escaped, "you never thought me capable of doing anything. Just like dada!" I whispered my last three words softly. With that I got up from the table and turned my heels towards our room.
"Faith!" He yelled.
"Faith, wait!"
I walked past wipping my tears, ignoring him. But I could feel him coming behind me.
"Its your AlphaKing ordering, Faith. I said WAIT!" He said in an authoritative voice. My wolf shivered. Afterall, he was the AlphaKing- no one could defy him. I stopped instantly.
"Y-you can't use your power to do this, Edward,"
"I had to. Don't go alone, please. Take Toni with you,"
"She won't! She has to leave for her world to take care of,"
He raked his hair with his hand. He suddenly punched the nearest wall. I gasped.
"I can't go because of all the responsibilities," he sighed, "take James with you."
"What?"
"You heard me," he said angrily.
I arched my brow,"Fine." I went straight to my room. I knew I lied to him about the arrangements making, but I had to. I thought I would be leaving tomorrow so I started packing my articles.
I took a duffle bag of Edward's. I placed my dresses and needs inside the bag and zipped the chain. I sighed as I sat on the bed. Oh! footwears! I went to the cupboard and took my footwear out there and packed them when J entered.
"Ed says we leaving for the White Mountain Pack tomorrow," J said.
"Yes." I replied curtly.
He sat on the bed beside my bag. "What happened SIL?"
"SIL?" I looked at him with already annoyed eyes.
"Sister-in-law!"
I shook my head as I sighed.
"Tell me," he insisted.
"Some things are meant to be kept from others, J. It gives you a satisfaction that atleast you saved one person from getting hurt,"
"You don't hurt sister-in-law,"
I laughed sarcastically. "I don't hurt J. I kill internally and the best part, the wounds are never visible," I sighed and smiled. "Now pack your stuffs and please do make arrangements for leaving tomorrow,"
"You didn't do that!" He was shocked.
I shook my head as I bit my lip. He side-hugged me as he turned to leave.
"You sure about what you are doing?" He asked genuinely. Honestly, I didn't know the answer myself. Was I doing right? I don't know what the future holds but I was not going to turn back. Never. I want to be happy and for that I need to be strong. I just can't give up because there were too many obstacles.
"Its an endevour James. One day, maybe, I'll be proud about who I will be. Because to be her I am going through one hell of a time,"
"Wish you luck," He smiled and left.
