The whole kingdom was filled with silence. Only the water droplets escaping down the trees due to cold moist weather was heard. It sent a chilled cold wave. Even nature stood in stiffness of anticipation. The ice reminded of how a world would like if the case of The state of Vampires Vs Ashley Prescott was lost by the werewolves.

As the time flew, my heart pounded with great speed,  I feared if it would break the ribs. I glided inside my black coloured coat and inhaled looking in the mirror. I looked at the woman standing in front. She looked so different and confident yet every inch of me was shaking with sheer nervousness.

Eddie entered the closet and stood behind me. His warmth was soothing and it felt like home. I knew, my comfort zone was beautiful, but I couldn't grow my pride and prove my strongness in there.

"You're ready?" He, as well, was wearing a black tuxedo and looked very elegant and sophisticated.

I looked at myself once more and turned around. I could see his confidence flashing through his beautiful grey eyes. He placed his arms around my biceps and looked with a contemplating gaze.

"My father used to teach me- 'To win a battle,  you need to find opportunities. But sometimes, you need to create your own opportunity. You have created your own, baby. You just need to roar through the woods." His words placed a deep impact on me. As if the morning star had let it shine.

I cupped his face and captured his lips. It was an assuring kiss conversing our unsaid consoles with a hope that everything would be fine.

We went downstairs to meet everyone- waiting for our presence. I gave them a tight smile. All of them rose my morale to fight the battle but only I knew the reality was bitter. I hugged Irene and we all hopped inside the SUV as we rode off.

Toni, me and Eris were riding in the same SUV, while Eddie, James and Gilbert were coming is another. Chris was driving our vehicle.

My heart was almost in my hands as my ribs were breaking with the continuous ticking. The road seemed to be lesser and lesser. All I wanted at that moment was to lead an eternal path with no meaning at last.

But since my stars weren't with me, we reached the Court Of Justice. The whole path was crowded with supernaturals. The media was on the hype of publishing a mega-busting news to the awaited public. As soon as we drooped our feet, mics covered my face with various incoherent voices.

"Move!" Came a roaring voice from behind. Everyone moved to see the owner of such a powerful vocal. From his heard features, I guessed him to be Counsellor Douglas Page. He was a middle-aged man with auburn hair. His height was short. He wore a thick-rimmed glass pair which made him look a geek and intimidating at the same time.
