Chapter 6.

Ugh, the first day back at school from being on summer break. One of the worst days of the year as a teenager; no more free time, late nights out with friends, having to listen to people brag over and over about what they did or where they went during their break. Plus the load of homework the teachers force on us even though school just started. But hopefully, this year won't be as stressful as last year.

Sweet Pea pulls his motorbike into the parking lot of my school, Riverdale High School. Glares from Northsiders walking passed don't go unnoticed, but what can you expect when bringing not only someone from the Southside of Riverdale but a member of the Serpent gang. We get off his bike and Sweet Pea leans back against it. "So, I'll see you after school," I say, standing in front of him.

"What time?"

"Well, school finishes at three-fifteen, but I don't mind waiting a bit afterwards."

"Ok, I'll see you when you finish."

People will defiantly be whispering in the halls about this for a while.

"I better go, my friends are probably waiting for me," I say, putting a piece of loose hair behind my ear, and Sweet Pea nods.

"See you later," he says.

"Bye," I reply, then walk off. I see Betty, Veronica, Kevin, and Jughead standing at the steps in front of the school waiting for me. I stop walking and look back at Sweet Pea. "Uh, screw it."

I start to run back to Sweet and he looks up from his bike. He sees me running back towards him and he starts walking towards me. I stop in front of him, pausing for a second then kiss him, not giving a shit if people are staring at us. He kisses back and gently grips my waist, slightly leaning back against his bike. We break the kiss and smile at each other.

"See you after school, princess," he says and kisses my forehead.

"See you then, Pea."

I sit down at the table, with Kevin and Veronica, and they look at me smirking.

"What?" I ask.

"So when did you and the Serpent happen?" Veronica asks.

"Uh, we've had a thing for a couple of weeks, but yesterday it became official" I answer, looking down to hide my smile.

"Kevin, did you know about this?" V asks looking over at him and he nods.

"Yes, I was at Pop's, then Karisma and Sweet Pea walked in" Kevin answers, hiding the fact he was with Joaquin.

Cover your own ass why don't you, Keller. Geez.

"So... Sweet Pea is his name," Veronica says.

"Yeah..." I say shyly. Archie, Betty, and Jughead walk over to our groups' table, Betty and Jug sit down but Archie stays standing.

"Archiekins, are you going to sit down?" Veronica asks.

"No. Uh... Karisma, can we talk?" Archie awkwardly asks and I nod.

I stand up and follow Archie out of the cafeteria, earning a few looks from students sitting at the other tables. He walks to the music room and I groan, knowing that he is going to talk about what happened at the river. "What?" I ask and Archie turns to me.

"You're seriously dating a Serpent. Do you know how much danger he's going to put you in? He's not going to take care of you and you should know that," Archie mutters.

Here we go.

"Says the one screwing a teacher!" I yell.

"Can you not say that so loud?"
