Chapter 18.

Last night Veronica threw a party and let's just say it didn't go so well for me. This guy named Nick St Clare was there and we talked most of the night.

Later on, he managed to slip a pill in my drink and drug me, then he took me up to a spare room in the house to try to take advantage of me. Thank God Veronica, Josie, Valerie and Melody managed to get to the room before Nick could do anything. Apparently, it has happened to Cheryl too.

Now Veronica is making me tell Sweet Pea and I'm very nervous because I know he won't take it well, not even a bit.

"Is everything alright Karisma?" Veronica asks as we near Sweet Pea's trailer.

"I'm kind of nervous to tell him, I know how he's going to react and it's not going to be good" I answer as I fiddle with my fingers, nervously.

"I'll tell him for you. I know what happened" Veronica says, putting a comforting hand on my arm.

"Thanks, Ronnie" I reply.

We walk up to the door of Sweet Pea's trailer and I knock on it. Before I can step back to wait for Sweets to answer the door, it quickly opens and Sweet Pea stands there. He notices it's me and quickly engulfs me in a hug.

"Thank god you're ok," Sweet Pea says, sighing in relief. He kisses my temple and holds me tightly. We stop hugging and he looks at Veronica.

"Can we come in?" She asks. Then Sweet Pea hesitates but steps aside anyway and lets us into his trailer. Veronica sits down on the couch and Sweet Pea leans closer to me.

"What the hell is she doing here?" He whispers.

"Relax. You'll find out in a second" I whisper back.

"Why didn't you come here last night like you said you were going to?" Sweet Pea asks me with a hint of concern in his voice.

"Because she was with me" Veronica answers for me. Sweet Pea turns his attention to her but by the look on Veronica's face, I know he can tell something is wrong.

"What happened?" he asks.

"As you know Karisma was at a party that I threw and she was drugged" Veronica answers, fixing the hem of her skirt.

"What?" Sweet Pea yells, shooting up from the couch. His hands clenched in fists and anger clearly showing on his face.

"I met Veronica's 'friend', Nick St. Clair. We ended up talking" I say. "Anyways he offered me a drink and I accepted. Turns out he roofied it."

"He drugged her. Took her up to a bedroom so he could take advantage of her" Veronica adds.

"I'M GONNA KILL HIM!" Sweet Pea yells.

I grab his hand and entwine my fingers with his. "Babe, calm down," I say with a soft tone of voice. His face softens as he looks down at me. He cups my cheek with his free hand and kisses my forehead, then looks at Veronica.

"He didn't do anything to her, right?" Sweet Pea asks.

"No, me and a few friends stopped him before anything could happen" She answers.

Sweet exhales and looks at the floor, then looks back at Veronica. "Thank you," he says, earning a smile from Veronica.

"No worries. Gotta take care of my girly" she replies.

"I'm going to take a shower and clean up," I say before kissing Sweet Pea's cheek.

Sweet Pea's P.O.V

Karisma walks off to the bathroom and Veronica gets up off my couch. "Well my work here is done," she says.

"Wait, Veronica," I say, stopping her as she goes to leave my house.
