Chapter 37.

I walk into the cafeteria and see Jughead sitting with the Serpents this time, probably for protection after last night. I make my way over there, using my hair to try to hide my cuts and bruises on my face. I sit down at the table next to Sweet Pea and Fangs looks at me.

"What the hell happened to you?" He asks with concern. Sweet Pea looks at me and notices my busted lip, black eye and a little cut above my eyebrow.

"It's nothing, I'm fine" I answer, looking down.

"Ghoulies," Toni says. "They got Jughead last night and Karisma walked in on it, she bruised up a few of them."

I'm guessing Jughead told her. Sweet Pea immediately stands up and I can tell he's pissed off.

"Sweet Pea sit down, I'm not letting some stupid little fight ruin your guy's peace with the Ghoulies," I say, grabbing his wrist, and he groans then sits back down.

"Fine, but if they hurt you again, I'm breaking that peace. Karisma you're coming home with me after school" Sweet Pea replies as he places his hand on my thigh.

I nod and put my hand on top of Sweet Pea.

School finishes and I walk out of my class with Toni. We walk to her locker and she puts her books and other stuff into her little backpack.

As we stand at her locker talking, I feel arms wrap around my waist. I look behind me and see that it's Sweet Pea.

"Hey princess," he says.

"Hey Pea" I reply and kiss his cheek.

"God you two, not everyone needs to see you acting all lovey-dovey," Jughead says as him and Fangs walk up to us.

I roll my eyes and Fangs laughs.

"Why'd you want me to come home with you after school?" I ask Sweet Pea as we walk to his motorbike.

"I wanted to hang out with you plus I didn't want to you staying here after school again" he answers.

"Well aren't you cute," I say.

Sweet Pea smiles as he rolls his eyes and we get onto his bike.

"I've to go to get home. Dad wants to have dinner at Pop's with Jughead and I" I say as I pick my school bag off the floor of Sweet Pea's trailer.

"Ok, I'll see you at school tomorrow?" Sweet Pea questions.

"You sure will," I say.

"I love you," I say after kissing Sweet Pea.

"I love you too" he replies as he holds the front door open for me.

I walk out of his trailer and feel Sweet Pea slap my butt. I yelp and look back at him. Sweet Pea winks at me and I smile then walk off to my trailer.
