Chapter 55.

I walk down the hallway with Betty and head towards the school gym. Betty asked me to help her and Jughead with the school newspaper for the past few days. It has taken up a lot of my time since we've been staying late after school every day, but all our hard work will be worth it. I've been so busy that I haven't had any time to hang out with Sweet Pea unless it's in class. Speaking of Sweet Pea, him and I have been dating for almost a year now.

Betty and I walk past the gym and hear people yelling at each other. Being the curious duo that we are, we walk into the gym and see the Serpents and Bulldogs facing each other in a game of basketball. I see Sweet Pea and notice how hot he looks in his P.E. uniform with his Serpent tattoo clearly visible on the side of his neck. I bite my lip and watch as he dribbles the ball down the court. He shoves Reggie with his elbow as he dribbles past him and Reggie falls to the ground. Sweet Pea throws the ball at the hoops and it goes in.

Betty and I cheer and all the boys look at us. Sweet Pea winks at me and I look down as a smile creeps onto lips. The boys go back to playing basketball and Betty turns to me. "I'm going to head home, do you want a ride to your place?" Betty asks and I shake my head.

"No thanks, I'll just go home with Sweet Pea. See you tomorrow" I say giving Betty a hug before she leaves. The basketball game finally finished and most of the guys walk off to the locker room. Sweet Pea says bye to Fangs then runs over to me.

"Good job out there, babe," I say before kissing him.

"Thanks, princess" Sweet Pea replies with a smirk. He places his hand on my hips and steps closer to me. "Do I get the homie of finally being able to spend a night with my girl?" Sweet Pea asks.

"I'm sorry for pretty much neglecting you, how about I make it up to you?" I ask as I fiddle with the hem of his shirt.

"And how do you plan on doing that?" Sweet Pea asks as his smirks gets even bigger.

"However you want," I say.

Sweet Pea and I walk into the Whyte Wyrm since our night just got interrupted by my dad calling me and saying that there's a Serpent meeting at the bar.

"Your boyfriend doesn't look too happy," Fangs says over the loud music playing in the bar. I sigh and nod.

"He just gets jealous easily," I say. "I'll go talk to him." Fangs nods and I make my way across the bar to Sweet Pea. "Hey, babe," I say.

"You bored of Fangs now?" Sweet Pea mutters in an annoyed tone.

"Are you seriously jealous of me talking to your best friend? Seriously Pea, grow up. Fangs and I are friends too, we can't talk without you going all alpha male on me" I complain and roll my eyes.

"You're right, I'm sorry" Sweet Pea says.
