Chapter 13.

I wake up to my phone alarm going off and I hear Sweet Pea groan from beside me. I reach over to grab my phone off the nightstand and turn off the annoyingly loud alarm. I remove Sweet Pea's arm around from my waist and go to get up, but he pulls me back down again. "Do you have to go to school today?" he asks, slightly opening his eyes, and I roll over so I'm facing him.

"Yes and you have to as well" I answer, pushing his hair out of his eyes, and he groans in annoyance.

"I was thinking about skipping."

"We have to go to school."

The day seemed to drag on forever and now school is finally over and done with. I gather my belongings and make my way to the front of the school to see Sweet Pea waiting for me.  "How was your day?" He asks as his hands resting on my waist and he pecks my lips.

"It's was long and boring, how about you?"

"Same as yours," he answers.

We arrive at the Whyte Wyrm and walk inside, instantly getting greeted by Toni and Fangs. Toni takes me aside while Fangs and Sweet Pea start playing a game of pool as per usual. "What's up?" I ask, smiling at Toni.

"Sweet Pea really cares about you, he has been talking about you every day since he met you" she answers. I look over at Sweet Pea to see him and Fangs joking around. "He really cares about you, Karisma. I've never seen him so protective over someone" Toni says.

"I care about him too" I reply, making Toni smile. "But why are you telling me this now?"

"I thought that I should probably tell you just in case Sweet Pea doesn't because he can be a bit held back when it comes to feelings."

"Ok, thanks for telling me, T."

"We should go back over to them before Sweet Pea thinks I'm going to steal you," she says with a slight giggle.

I walk over to Sweet Pea and kiss his cheek. "What was that for?" He asks, confused, and Fangs takes his turn.

"No reason" I answer, smiling, and he smiles back.

Sweet Pea rests his hand on my lower back as he waits for his turn, and I watch as Fangs sinks a ball, meaning he gets to go again. "I've never seen you play pool before," he says.

"Neither have I," Toni says as she sits down on the stool behind Fangs.

"I-I've never actually played pool before," I say.

"Wait, really?" Fangs asks, looking up from the pool table.

"Yep" I answer.

"I'll have to teach you then," Sweet Pea says as he leans down to hit the white ball. He lines the cue up with it and hits it quite hard. Two balls go in and Sweet Pea smiles at his success.

"I guess you will" I reply.
