Chapter 58.

I walk up the stairs of the trailer and Sweet Pea walks out of it. "Sweet Pea? What are you doing here?" I ask.

"I, uh, Serpent business" he answers but I know he is lying.

"Oh," I say.

"I've got to go but come to my place at eight" Sweet Pea says before rushing away.

"Happy one year to you too," I say under my breath. I walk inside and walk straight to my room, ignoring greetings from dad and Jughead. I lay down on my bed and hide my face in a pillow.

"Hey, are you ok?" I hear dad ask.

"I'm fine," I say.

"No, you're not. What's wrong?" He asks and I feel the bed sink beside me.

"Today's mine and Sweet Pea's one year anniversary and I think he has forgotten," I say.

"I'm sure he remembers. Maybe he's got something stressing him out" dad says.

"Yeah, you're probably right," I say.

I put my Serpent jacket on over top of my mid thigh black dress and walk out of the trailer. I walk to Sweet Pea's trailer and knock on the door. The door swings open and reveals a well dressed Sweet Pea. "Holy, you look amazing," he says as he looks me up and down.

I smile and kiss him. "Not bad yourself" I reply. Sweet Pea lets me in and tells me to sit down on the couch. He walks into the kitchen and comes out with a much of red roses.

"Happy one year anniversary, princess," Sweet Pea says and hands the flowers to me.

"Happy one year anniversary," I say and carefully put the roses down on the coffee table. I stand up and hug Sweet Pea. He hugs back and I feel his hand on my butt. "Hey!" I say.

"Sorry, can't help myself. Wearing a little black dress isn't helping" Sweet Pea says. I laugh and reach in the pocket of my jacket.

"I got you this since you keep misplacing your other one," I say as I hold out a silver chain with a dog tag on it.

"Thanks, princess" Sweet Pea says as he takes it from my hands and puts it on.

"I don't know how to cook so I got us takeaways from Pops" Sweet Pea says, rubbing the back of his neck.

I laugh and peck his lips. "It's perfect."

As Sweet Pea and I lay in his bed after having sex, he turns to me and looks slightly nervous. "You ok?" I ask, moving his hair out of his eyes.

"Yeah" Sweet Pea answers. "Can I ask you something? It's kind of a big deal."

"Yeah, what is it?" I ask.

"We're always together..."

"Yeah..."

"And we're always at each other's places."

"Mhm..."

"Would you like to move in with me?"

"Of course."
