I bet you can't guess where I am right now. I'll give you a hint; milkshakes and fries.
I finish writing my paper for science class and someone sits down across from me. I look up and see Toni sitting on the other side of my booth.
"Hi T," I say, smiling, and put my stuff in my bag.
"Hi, Risma" Toni replies with a smile. "What are you doing here?"
"Well... I suppose to be here with Jughead, but he cancelled last minute to spend time with Betty" I answer and Toni rolls her eyes.
"He's always with that girl. Mind if I stay with you?" Toni asks.
"Not at all. I could use some company" I answer. "I have been by myself all day, not that it bothers me, but I probably should communicate with at least one human being."
* * * *
"Toni?"
"Yes?"
"Do you have the Serpent tattoo like Sweet Pea and Fangs?"
"Yeah, I got mine done on my ribs. I actually do the tattoos for most of the Serpents."
I look at her with raised eyebrows. "Really? That's so cool."
She smiles. "Thanks, maybe I might end up doing it on you. I'm sure Sweet Pea would like that."
"Yeah, maybe."
Me... as a Serpent. Huh, doesn't sound too bad.
