Elsa stepped out of her room again anxiously looking down the corridor, Her eyes widened in a mixture of shock and confusion when he offered his arm out for her. After a slight hesitation she took the offer, wrapping her arm around his. It was quite funny to see how he could change from bad to good in just a second, but she wanted to make sure this good façade couldn’t trick her into falling for him. She briefly laughed at the thought before his voice interrupted her internal voice.

“So…Should I get to the interesting questions or should I start with a statement about the weather?” he laughed.

Elsa raised an eye brow at him “I guess it depends what the interesting question is about…” She already knew what he wanted to ask, what all of Arendelle and other kingdoms wanted to ask. Why did the little princess lock herself away? It angered her when people said that ‘she’ locked ‘herself’ away. No She didn’t lock herself away, her parents did, but she didn’t necessarily blame them for it, she blamed the stupid curse that put her in this mess to begin with.

“Well, how every muscle of yours just tensed up, I guess you know the question I want to ask… should I ask or will I just get a sarcastic answer?”

She looked at him with a small smirk as she relaxed again “I don’t know what question you are talking about Mister..uh… Stranger..” She said with a fake naivety.

He rolled his eyes “Westerguard. Hans Westerguard. And fine, I’ll be blunt, Why did lock yourself away for so long…It was like you wanted to be forgotten. No one wants to be invisible.”

Elsa gave him a slight look of confusion, had we already found his touchy subject? Because she didn’t plan on sharing hers.

“Ah, that question, of course, how could I be so stupid” she laughed. “Well I’ll tell you, because I'm getting married to you…”

“You will?!” He asked excitedly.

“I locked myself away…To get away from people like you” She chuckled at how she had lead him on. Was he really so stupid that he thought she would tell him when they just met.

His excitement drained from his face. “Very funny. Hilarious in fact” He replied with an unimpressed emotion.

She nodded as if to agree.

“Fine, next question… What do you look for in a man?”

“Everything you're not…”

“A little less of the Queen with the attitude, I might seem like a jerk… But I would honestly like to get to know you”

She sighed, he sounded like he was speaking genuinely, like he actually meant it.

“What do I look for in a man? It’s hard to say when I haven’t yet been in a relationship, but good manners are key, respect, equality, freedom…”

“Freedom?” He asked, if she wanted freedom, locking herself away was hardly the way to go about it. He looked at her, deeply in thought about what could make such a beautiful young lady, a Queen in fact; think that pushing away everyone she loved was a good idea.

She looked at him awkwardly, his gaze upon her making her feel unbelievably uncomfortable, like he knew everything about her which was by far the most terrifying thing for her, he wouldn’t be so confident with her if he knew of her powers, he wouldn’t want to marry her then, she would just be another thing for people to hate.

“Why are you looking at me like that?” she asked, noticing he had lost himself in thought.

He shook his head lightly to bring himself back into the conversation.

“You're very… Intriguing Queen Elsa” He muttered as the two of them sat on one of the large windowsills that gave a beautiful view of the fjord.

“Just call me Elsa… I want to forget about this.” She said as she pulled the crown out of her hair and gave it to him. “You're only talking to me to get a crown right?” she laughed before becoming serious again. “Intriguing? You mean, you think I'm mad because I locked myself away and it would be great to know all of the secrets no one else knows?”

He fiddled with the small tiara in his hands, she treated it like it was worthless, it only interested him in her more.

“No! I simply stated that you interest me. Deep down, I'm not the man you met in the ballroom. Honestly! I'm just used to having to act confident, too confident, getting a little bit of respect and attention when you have Twelve older brothers is pretty much impossible, especially as the youngest.”

She nodded her head unsure of how to react.

“You're pretty intriguing yourself… But that doesn’t mean I like you” She said as she looked out at the ships floating of the shimmering water.

“Well I don’t like you either” He teased, sticking his tongue out at her.

Her smile faded back into a frown. “So… we are getting married tomorrow? What happens if I don’t say ‘I do”’

Hans sighed, even he didn’t agree with the arranged marriage but his father had forced him into it.

“Well my father says he will declare war on Arendelle. It’s your choice of what you say, but either way I’ll protect you.”
