The final remainders from the ice lock around the handle dripped into the puddle that lay beneath it, their clothing in piles just a meter away. Elsa lay on her side with Hans’ arms softly, yet protectively wrapped around, pulling her back into his chest her as they slept.

Three knocks hit the door; no reaction came from either of the royals. “Queen Elsa? King Hans?” A polite voice called. Elsa opened one eye tiredly as she recognized it. She tried to lift his heavy arms that draped over her. “Hey, wake up sleeping beauty, there's a guard at the door” she whispered.

Hans groaned and hugged her in closer “I don’t care, can’t we just have five minutes of quiet, you know, just me and you time?”

Elsa tried to push his arms away in an attempt to get free “We had plenty of that last night, and it might be something important”

“They only knocked once sweetheart. If they really need us they’ll knock again”

Elsa relaxed and cuddled into him, closing her eyes. Hans softly kissed the back of her neck, smiling as he heard her hum happily. Moments like this were precious, every time they were alone it would mostly be interrupted by a member of staff or Anna, so every second they got to spend in peace in one another’s company was much appreciated. For Elsa and Hans Sunday was by far the best day of the week, no need to return to that dreary, time-consuming paper work, no need for any uncomfortable, hot and heavy ball gowns or suits as for the majority of staff, it was their day off anyway, not that either Elsa nor Hans cared about what state they saw them in, but as royals, formal dress wear was expected. It was just a day to relax; only emergencies could disrupt it.

“Hans…” Elsa said, longing out the ‘a’.

“Elsa?” He replied, longing out the ‘a’ to mock her tone.

“Can we spend the day learning the piano piece again? it means it'll be just me and you…”

He nodded slightly “Mhm… What time would you like to go down there?”

“Now.”

“Now? You want me to get out of bed at this early time!” He paused for a second. “Fine. On one condition”

“Its hardly early, it must be nine by now, and what condition would that be?” she said with a slight laugh.

“It is early!” He protested. “And my condition? My condition is that I get to decide what you wear while we are there” He said with a smirk.

Elsa rolled her eyes “Fine, and now I have agreed, I think its time you get that lazy royal ass of yours out of bed”

Perfect royal ass” He corrected with a teasing tone. He finally released Elsa from his grip, rolling out of the bed and getting onto his feet. He strolled over to his closet, pulling out his most comfortable clothing he could find and quickly getting into it. He ran his fingers through his hair, trying to tame his bed head.

“Once you have finished admiring yourself in that mirror pretty-boy, it would be great if you selected my attire for the day”

Hans began to pose at his reflection switching positions every few seconds “Well I don’t have the privilege of looking at this flawless face all day like you do”

Elsa raised an eyebrow and laughed, “I wouldn’t call it a privilege, more of a curse”

He finally moved away from the mirror and began to flick through the clothing that hung in his closet “You’ve only just got out of your stage of denial, I knew you couldn’t resist a man with a face and body like this” He teased using one hand to signal up and down his body. His other hand pulling out a light blue shirt and chucking it at her. “You are so lucky you have a husband who can choose something for you to wear that makes you look so good” he winked.

Elsa crossed her arms and gave him an unimpressed look, “You want me to walk around the castle in this?” she asked bluntly.

“It covers your modesty… it nearly reaches your knees! And I'm most likely the only person, other than a few staff, that'll see you!”

Elsa’s expression remained the same “What’s my second option?”

“Lingerie” he replied in a straightforward manner.

She breathed heavily out through her nose as she picked up the shirt and began to put it on, buttoning all but the very top button to avoid the feeling of being strangled.

She swung her legs to the side of the bed as she climbed out, one side of the shirt slipping off one of her shoulder slightly. She quickly picked up her hairbrush and glided it through her hair, humming the tune she would be continuing to learn on the piano in a matter of minutes. Hans continued to make himself look decent as he joined in, humming the tune and harmonizing along with her.

“Ready?” She asked.

Hans nodded, walking over to her and kissing her lips softly, his arm finding its way back to its usual place back around her waist. “Yes gorgeous, I'm assuming you are”

She nod her as she began to guide them both over to the door opening it slowly, peering out to make sure the corridor was empty.

“Relax, like I told you, no one is going to see you, your covered up and still beautiful”

“I can’t help but feel anxious walking around in this!” She exclaimed.

The two of them began to walk down the stairs, still side by side “Well anyone who does see you should consider themselves lucky anyway. Do you remember what your amazing piano teacher taught you last time?”

She nodded as a reply “Keys, Chords and the introduction” She recited.

“Good, that makes my job a million times easier” He stated, slowly turning the handle as it clicked open.

Once the door was fully open a tall, muscular and rather intimidating figure stood in front of the window facing away from the royal couple, making both Hans and Elsa jump slightly.

“Good morning Mr and Mrs Westerguard” the deep voice spoke sending shivers down their spines.
