“You may now kiss th-“

Elsa lunged forward, kissing him passionately before he could ask any questions. Hans kissed her back, but nowhere near as passionate. Elsa pulled away after a few seconds and Hans was then crowned, King of Arendelle. Elsa’s heart was pounding in her chest, was her secret out? He could tell everyone, everyone would hate her. She took a deep breath as she began to feel her fingertips tingle again, and she couldn’t risk anything more dramatic happening. The guests got up and filed out of the room and back into the Great Hall.

“Elsa your ri-“

“I need to go and see Anna… I will talk to you later.”

She called as she rushed down the aisle towards the door and into the Great Hall, trying to hid herself within the crowd, but she could her his foot steps following her.

“You made a good choice… Mrs Westerguard” A man said from behind her. She flinched slightly and turned to face the man. “You and my son go well together..” He said with a smug grin, knowing she didn’t want to be with him. Was this all just some messed up game to him, this was her life he was ruining.

“Don’t call me that” Elsa snapped.

“You should probably start getting used to it”

She gave him a look of anger before storming away and through a small door that lead to her study. She sat down in her chair and picked up the quill near her and decided to take her mind off of it all by getting some work done. She hated work, but no where near as much as she hated the situation she had found herself in. She pulled the ring off her finger and on put it as far away from her as she could, covering it with some pointless treaties and laws she needed to sign.

She focused on each piece of paper in front of her as she heard the door handle begin to turn, its clicks echoing in the practically silent room.

“Elsa, we need to talk” His voice was somewhat nervous.

“Hans, I'm working.” She said sternly, not lifting her eyes from the papers, mentally begging for him to just leave.

“Elsa its our wedding night, and I just want to talk to you, you can tell me when you want me to go but just give me five minutes of your time at least”

Five minutes was way too long she thought, actually so was five seconds but she would have to confront him about the situation at some point. She raised her hand to signal for him to sit in the chair that sat opposite her on the other side of the desk.

“Thank you” He muttered as he shut the door behind him and walking over to the chair and sitting down in the seat she implied he sit in. “I Know you don’t want to talk to me, you never have, but we need to talk about what happened with tha-“ He pointed towards her left hand until he realized the ring wasn’t there. “Well you know what I mean.”

Elsa finally set the pen down and looked up at him, he didn’t look afraid of her, he just looked more concerned. Concerned about her, or his safety she didn’t know.

“No. Actually I don’t know what you mean.” She said angrily hoping it would scare him off a bit.

“Elsa we can’t just act like nothings happened, you locked yourself away for over a decade, your room is ice cold, snow flakes even form in your room and you seem to not be bothered what so ever. I Place a ring on your finger and in less that a second its coated in thick ice and frost. And worst of all, your own sister doesn’t know why or who you are. What kind of person are you!” He said out anger, his temper short from him having to get married to a woman who wouldn’t even try and love him back and having to put up with his family all day.

She glared at him angrily, her powers building up again “I don’t need you to remind me what I am. I’m a monster.” She growled through gritted teeth.

This only angered Hans more, she knew full well that he was expecting an explanation, not a childish statement. “Elsa.” He shouted, standing up and slamming his fists onto the desk.

“Hans.” She responded, her eyes glowing a dark blue, copying his action’s but as the palms of her hands hit the table, ice spiked from the table towards him. She suddenly pulled her hands away and looked at the desk. She was a danger to everyone around her. Hans jolted back and looked at the ice then back at her. But he didn’t rush out of the door like she expected.

She covered her face with her hands, he was going to tell everyone, who wouldn’t… Information like this was great for him, he could get her back for all the rude and sarcastic comments she had made since they met. Elsa sat back down and rested her elbows where there was no ice and took a deep breath. The room was silent, had he left with out her realizing? She wiped the tears of panic from her cheeks and looked up to see him still standing in front of her.

“Aren’t you going to run out there and tell everyone that I nearly just pierced you with a spear of ice made from my very hands?!” She sobbed; assuming he would use his new knowledge to his advantage.

He slowly shook his head and looked at her with a worried smile, not worried about his safety, but hers. Of course he was shocked, but he wanted to try and calm her down but only one stupid sentence came to mind.

“Elsa… Are you okay?

Don’t forget to leave a comment etc! I’ll love you forever -m x
