Elsa forced her hands into fists, digging her nails into the palm of her hands as she watched him smile at her, bigger than he ever had with Elsa. She breathed through her nose heavily as anger built up in side of her. Did she really mean nothing to him? After everything she had revealed to him, secrets she even struggled to tell Anna. Her eyes glowed a vibrant and now darker blue as she felt her powers begin to build up within her. Her fingertips going numb as a cold sensation ran through her veins. She quickly shook her head. “I refuse to let him be the reason I reveal my powers” She thought aloud.
Anna looked at Elsa “Elsa. You’ve never let a man get to you like this.”
Elsa took a deep breath. “He’s not getting to me. He’s an arrogant idiot who just uses women as things for his own entertainment.” She stated.
“If you believed that, you wouldn’t be so upset by him dancing with her.”
As Anna spoke, Elsa’s eyes didn’t stop following him and the brunette girl with deep green eyes and flawless skin.
“Why don’t you go and take a seat and I’ll get you a drink?” Anna said in the kindest tone she could muster up. Elsa replied with a simple nod as she walked over to her throne, crossing one leg over the other, the slit in her dress becoming apparent in the way she sat. She rubbed her temples in small circles with her index and middle fingers. She closed her eyes and leant back against the back of the throne in an aim to calm herself down.
“Elsa”
She finally opened her eyes to see Anna standing in front of her with a glass of wine. “Thank you” Elsa said with a sigh as she took the glass and practically downed the deep red liquid and placed the glass back down on the armrest and shut her eyes again, when she next opened her eyes the glass was refilled to the top. She raised her eyebrow at Anna “Are you trying to get me drunk?” She asked, drinking the wine nevertheless. Anna giggled and bit her bottom lip. “No..” she said, lengthening out the ‘o’ “I’m just simply helping to lighten your mood.”
Elsa leant back and laughed, taking her mind off her husband and her replacement dancing in front of her.
As Elsa hardly ever drank and was slim, Anna knew that those two glasses of wine was more than enough, She decided to stay by Elsa’s side, just incase something was to happen. After a few minutes Elsa’s mind began to go into a daze as she tapped her fingers on the armrest to the beat of the music. The music came to an end and the band began to prepare for the next song. A young, and quite handsome man approached Elsa with a kind smile, he had dark hair and blue eye’s similar to Elsa’s and was clearly a little bit tipsy. He bowed in front of her.
“Queen Elsa, It pains me to see you sitting alone at such a wonderful ball, would you do me the honor of joining me in this dance?” He asked, slurring his words occasionally. Elsa giggled and nodded her head, getting up out of her throne and taking his hand, trying not to trip over her own feet. Anna grabbed her hand before she walk out of her reach. Elsa quickly looked back at Anna with a child-like smile.
“Don’t do anything you're going to regret. Please!” Anna begged, realizing the flaw in her plan of trying to help Elsa relax with alcohol.
Elsa grinned “Don’t worry about me! He’s good looking anyway… so I won’t regret a thing!” She giggled as she skipped off with the stranger she was already getting rather close with. Anna buried her face in her hands, no longer wanting to watch how this would continue to play out. As the next piece of music began, Hans returned to his throne, leaving the young woman he had been dancing with previously. Elsa got into place with the blue-eyed man, as he softly held her cold hand and took a firm grip on her waist, pulling her body close to his as they began to dance. Elsa let one of her hands trail down his chest, feeling his muscles and smirking up at him as the alcohol made her more playful side apparent.
“I'm highly surprised you're not with your husband” He slurred.
“He’s found his interest in another woman, so now I have found my interest in another man.” She giggled, not taking her eyes away from his gorgeous blue orbs.
“Well, my Queen, I should introduce myself” He stated as he dipped her down with one arm, letting his other hand run up the slit of her dress “Prince Edward of Aria” he stated as he brought her back up onto her feet, putting his hands back in place with a small wink. Elsa blushed and laughed, “You're quite the ladies man” she flattered as they continued to dance around the room.
“Why thank you, that dress looks incredib-“ He started, but was stopped as the music came to an abrupt end.
Elsa looked around to see Anna standing by the band, looking over at her, shaking her head with her arms crossed, an unimpressed look across her face.
Elsa sighed in frustration, not yet understanding what was wrong with her drunk decision. She looked back at the prince “It was a pleasure getting to know you, I hope we can meet again, but for now I should probably deal with that sister of mine.” Her own voice stuttering and slurring. He chuckled and bowed to her, trying not to lose his balance “Until another night my Queen”
Elsa staggered over towards Anna “When he dances with someone else its fine! But when I do you stop me?!” Anna sighed and rolled her eyes “Elsa, you were getting way too close with that man, and secondly, I just spoke to Hans, he was dancing with an old friend from the Southern Isles, So I think he deserves an apology, don’t you” She said in a stern mothering tone. As Elsa’s emotions were messed with from the alcohol, her eyes filled with tears as she pulled Anna into a tight embrace. Anna hugged her back hesitantly with great confusion, smelling the strong wine from Elsa’s breath as she spoke. “I’m scared of being in love with him, I don’t want to grow attached to someone who only married me for my throne”
Anna sighed “Lets get you to bed Elsa…” Elsa wiped her eyes and nodded as Anna escorted her out of the door and up the stairs towards her room, pushing the bedroom door open and sitting Elsa on the edge of the bed. Anna walked over to the fire, lighting it, creating a warm orange glow across the room. She then walked over to the closet to get Elsa some comfortable sleepwear.
“He doesn’t love me like I love him. I pretend I don’t because if I admit it I’ll look weak!” Elsa sobbed as she let her emotions flow free.
Anna tried to hold back her small laugh, she had never seen Elsa anything like this before, and really, it was quite entertaining knowing she probably wouldn’t remember this the next morning. “Mhm, of course…” Anna nodded, handing Elsa a nightgown. Elsa wandered into her en suite to get changed, mascara tearstains down her cheeks. As Elsa shut the bathroom door behind her, Hans walked into the bedroom. Anna put her index finger to her lip to tell him to be quiet and listen, he laughed silently and nodded as he walked over to his side of the bed, kicking off his boots and laying down on top of the duvet quietly.
“I trust him a lot… and I… I think I love him, he makes me feel like I'm not different. He makes me happy! It feels like no one else understands me, but he does” Elsa called to Anna as she got changed not realizing Hans’ presence.
“I know, I know, don’t get yourself upset about it, you'll feel better after you’ve slept, just remind me to never give you that wine ever again!” Anna replied as Hans chuckled quietly.
Elsa wiped off her make up then walked out of her en suite and saw Hans on the bed. She smiled weakly, not thinking about what she had just revealed. She stumbled onto her bed by his side, climbing under the covers and cuddling up to him, resting her head on his chest as her eyes began to close. Anna rolled her eyes and laughed. She looked at Hans who was wrapping his arms around Elsa. “She will back to normal tomorrow” Anna mouthed with a giggle before leaving the room, waving at the two of them. Hans nodded and smiled, getting himself comfy, as he now couldn’t move without waking Elsa. “Good night my Queen” He whispered, kissing her forehead softly, making her hum happily in her sleep.
YES I KNOW THIS CHAPTER IS BAD. I re-wrote it 4 times in total and i cant re-write it again or i might go mad so sorry!
