They spent the following hour learning the basic things she would need to know in order to begin learning the piece. A bell chimed to cue them to be ready for the ball. The both stood with a smile.

“Time to socialize, and I plan on spending time with Anna… possibly telling her the reason to why I shut her out for so long…” The last part of the sentence was quiet but still audible.

“Really?! I'm proud of you” He said with a large grin, wrapping one arm around her, resting his hand on her waist, but for once, Elsa didn’t pull away. She corrected her dress and the two of them left her parents study to walk into the ballroom, which was already erupting with the sound of conversation of politics and gossip.

“Queen Elsa And King Hans of Arendelle” A voice announced, making everything go silent and everyone’s attention turn to them. They smiled and nod their head at a few of the guests as they walked through the crowd of people towards the two thrones that sat next to one another, they took a seat, over looking the party as the music began once again.

After a few minutes, Hans nudged Elsa with his elbow and pointed to the far side of the hall. She tilted her head as she followed his finger to see Anna standing there looking over at Elsa with a shy smile. Elsa took a deep breath and smiled back at her.

“I’ll be back in a bit if it all goes well… Wish me luck” Elsa said as she rose from her throne and began to walk over towards Anna with a nervous smile.

“Good luck, but I know you wont need it!” he called after her.

The closer Elsa got, the bigger the smile on Anna’s face got.

“Hey Elsie! Are you enjoying the party?”

Elsa nodded her head “Anna… I want to speak to you about something…I have a lot to explain, and I want to get it out of the way”

Anna’s eyes lit up, was she finally getting the answers to the questions she had been asking practically her whole entire life.

“Can we go somewhere a little more private? My study would be perfect” Elsa asked and Anna quickly agreed. The two of them walked over to the door and Elsa unlocked it, letting Anna enter first before shutting the door behind her.

“Anna, I need to explain so you know that I didn’t stay in my room out of spite or choice”

Anna smiled at Elsa, clearly seeing her nervousness and worry “I know you wouldn’t hurt me Elsa”

“Thank you for being so Understanding. Basically, when I was born for some unknown reason a curse was placed on me that gave me the power to create snow and ice using just my bare hands” Anna went to interrupt but Elsa raised her hand to silence her. “Then one night, you and I went to that very hall and decided to play with my powers, making a winter wonderland, but when we were playing, I slipped and shot you in the head, and then I nearly killed you, but mom and dad took you to the trolls to manipulate your memories so all the times I used my powers just seemed like a snow day.. and I'm really really sorry” Elsa's voice was speaking quickly by the end as she took a deep breath once she had finally got the words out of her mouth.

Anna looked at her shocked “Y-you have magic powers? That’s amazing!”

Elsa looked back at Anna with a confused look “You're not going to think I'm evil? You're not going to hate me? Think I'm weird? Want me banishe-“

Anna laughed “Of course not! I’m so jealous! Please show me!”

Elsa laughed and nodded her head as she span her hands around one another, creating a ball of snow to float in between her palms until she threw it into the air, making snow fall from the ceiling”

Anna bounced up and down with excitement as she watched the snowflakes dance through the air around them “Why would you ever think I’d hate you for being able to create such happiness?!” She exclaimed happily.

Elsa had never heard her powers be referred to as something that created happiness, it made her look at this ‘curse’ in a different light, as long as she could learn to control it, she could use it to make others happy. “Well mom and dad always told me I had to hide it or I would hurt you, and everyone else, and I’d be a monster… so that’s why they made me stay in my room, to keep you safe”

Anna lunged forward, wrapping her arms around her sister, holding her in a tight embrace “We need to make up for they years I've lost with my amazing sister!” Anna giggled as Elsa finally and hesitantly wrapped her arms back around Anna for the first time in so long.

“Does Hans know?” Anna asked as she finally pulled away from her sisters cold body.

Elsa nodded “He was the one who made me feel ready to reveal it to you, I by an accidently froze the ring at the wedding so I had to tell him and explain the situation, and he also reacted well, and now I feel closer to him than ever, I think I like the way I can be myself around him” Elsa said. Wait, did she just admit she had feelings for that man she thought she wanted to hate.

Anna giggled “My sisters in looove!” she said in a sing-song voice, trying to contain her giggles that wouldn’t stop coming.

“No, I'm not! I just feel sorry for him… he was pushed away from his family and… I guess we can kind of connect over that” Elsa said in defense, denying any fact that she was in that, thing, called love.

Anna rolled her eyes “Yeah, sure, as if you expect me to believe that!” she laughed. Elsa moved her hands quickly horizontally outwards, causing the snow to drop to the ground and disintegrate into nothing.

“Well you should believe it as it is the truth!” Elsa stated, walking back towards the door.

“Thank you for explaining it all to me Elsa, these answers mean a lot to me, I love you so much! You're the most amazing sister I could ever ask for!” Anna said as she pulled the door open with a large smile spread across her face. Elsa followed behind her and looked over towards the thrones, both of them empty. “Where’s Hans?” She thought aloud, something made her want to sit with him, get to know him more and stare into those beautiful eyes of his.. Wait what.

Anna's smile faded as she looked over to the dance floor to see him dancing with a young, beautiful brunette, the two of them dancing with large smiles on their faces, and the drunk guests thinking nothing of it. Anna pointed him out to Elsa and Elsa moved a little forward, joining the people that stood around the edge of the space left for people to dance.

She crossed her arms as she watched the two look into one another’s eyes laughing and giggling as they gracefully crossed the dance floor.

“I don’t love him anyway, so I couldn’t care less who he dances with.” Elsa said in a monotone voice through gritted teeth. If she really didn’t love him, then what was this overwhelming feeling of jealousy?

Don’t forget to leave a comment etc! I’ll love you forever -m x
