I don't think I have anything to say but. comment vote or fan or all at once. Ya know, the usual. Please, It's simple things like that that can make my day.

Oh and on a side note my dad has got some painted boards downstairs and all I can smell is fumes. I'm planning on writing tonight and if I do so I may be high off the fumes. WOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! (see? they're already kicking in...)

"First off, what in the name of hell am I supposed to be?" I demanded. I figured this question needed to be answered before the rest of them could make sense.

"Well, back before we were born, our mothers were kidnapped, and used for experiments." He cringed at that. "They were specially sought out by an unknown group, hm, how to put it, mad scientist?" He chuckled.

"Anyways, they stumbled upon a way to create creatures that have the powers of five mythical birds; the Roc, the Gamayun, Pegasus- yes I know Pegasus isn't a bird but it has wings, the Thunderbird," He pointed to himself, "and the Phoenix," He motioned towards me, "but they have the appearance of a human, well for the most part. They used our mothers to carry us, and informed them of their intentions. They told them everything they needed to know about us, and agreed to set them free if they promised not to tell, not even if they found their true love were they to tell of the secrets they kept. The only ones they were allowed to tell this information to were us, obviously."

"When did your mom tell you?" I asked him, though my question was more directed to his mom.

She looked up from the floor she picking shards of glass off of. "I told him the night of his fifteenth birthday, giving him a year to accept the fact that he wasn't your normal teenager." She laughed a little at that. "But what I'm wondering is why your mother is leaving it so late to tell you, it's a pity your finding out about yourself from complete strangers. Tell me dear, when is your birthday?"

"September 1st." At this Talon and his mom exchanged nervous glances.

"What is your mothers name?" She questioned further.

"Aurora Wakely-Sky." I said cautiously. I felt as though I could trust these people, but I hardly knew anything about them.

"No... no there was no one there by the name Aurora..." Talon's mom trailed off, "although you do look like you could be the daughter of Alexis."

"So you're telling me that my mom isn't really my mom?" I asked incredulously.

"Pretty much." Talon said looking indifferent.

"You know nothing of me and my family!" I shouted. "Nothing!" The mention of my barely existent family brought tears to my eyes as I stormed out the door.

I was halfway across the little lawn in front of the cabin before I was knocked down by an incredible force.

I wondered why the sudden outburst, but before I could follow that train of thought she was up and out the door.

I bolted after her and with on powerful flap of my wings I knocked her off her feet. I ran to catch up with her while she was still down and heard her groan.

Shit. The back of her shirt was destroyed, her back red and a deep gash that looked an awful lot like a... like a lightening bolt actually. Did I do this? I looked at my wings, they were sparking with electricity. Shit, I electrocuted her, I fried her back. Panicking, I scooped her up, and she yelped. I ran back to the house.
