Chapter 11

Woota woota! Next chapter! And on word this chapter is 6 pages! So it's longer than the others! I think! So hopefully this will make you forgive me for not posting in so long! So now that it' up, Happy Days! Oh and also I'd like to apologize for my lack of editing. hehe...

Well, to let you know, where I went I had an amazing time. I seriously didn't want to leave, it almost felt like I was living in a happy little bubble haha! I know, I sound insane, but it's true! I was out for a wedding, and we went on a boat afterwards; it was amazing! There was live entertainment, playing traditional music! It was so good! There was even a cute boy ;) But sadly I didn't get to talk to him :/ haha but I was talking to his little brother, who told me he liked me, and so I was like how does he like me if he's never talked to me before? It was so cute haha! speaking of kids, the next day still celebrating the wedding, there was a get together and I ended up giving almost every single one of the kids there at least 5 piggy backs each. That was around 10 kids. I ended up somehow twisting my knee because of it! What a fail on my part!

We pulled up to Belle's house, and walked up to the front door, still in a relatively good mood. I raised my hand to knock, but a painful sounding scream stopped me cold. Instead of knocking, I just rushed inside. I turned left into her grand living room, to see her lying on the couch with her hands pressed to her eyes.

"Belle! Oh I'm so sorry, we should have gotten here earlier!" I said, glaring at Talon at the end.

"Phoenix, um, I'm okay, just, ah, having a headache?" she told me, turning the last part into more of a question. She must know about us, but doesn't know I know, I thought to myself.

"No you're not, and I'm not leaving either." I said answering her next question. She looked at me confused. "I'm like you, ya know, with the wings?"

"Oh goody! I knew you were one of us, but we weren't sure because of your mom-" she broke off and her eyes widened.

I sighed, "I've already accepted the fact that I might be adopted, it's just the matter of asking my mom to confirm it later tonight."

" I'm sorry Sky," she said sadly. "Might I ask who he is?" she asked looking behind me, changing topic.

I looked behind me to see Talon hovering back in the doorway. He started walking towards us.

"He has a name, and his name is Talon." He said grinning. "Pleased to meet you." He bent down and took her hand and kissed it.

I rolled my eyes, "How come I never got an introduction like that?"

"I was excited to meet you, I'd never seen anyone else from our group before." He laughed.

"How did you two meet? I've never seen you around here before." Belle asked suspiciously.

"At the Regatta, I went looking for cotton candy, and I saw him. I approached him, and he grabbed my wrist and started running, but I was too slow, so he picked me up and jumped off a bridge."

"Well that explains why you were a no show when we went looking for you, not that I minded a little alone time with Sam." She waggled her eyebrows.

I laughed at her. "Speaking of Sam, I was with him when he changed. He jumped off a freaking cliff."

"WHAT? God, oh god. Is he alright? Please tell me he's alright."

"That was her reaction too, made her go suicidal. Sam's fine though."
