Hello people! So I only got one vote, but that's okay! Imma go ahead and post this next chapter, it's a bit longer and different from the rest. I was literally lol'ing when I wrote some of it haha!

The reason why I'm posting this is because.... I'm gonna be gone away until Monday! I've got a long roadtrip ahead of me tomorrow so hopefully I can take a laptop with me, that would mean a full day of writing haha! I'm goin all the way across the island just to spend two or three days there and then I need to drive back -___-

So, I hope you enjoy reading this chapter because I enjoyed writing it! ;D

Also while I'm gone you guys could please vote? And comment? And then I'll have a nice little surprise when I come home! (I probably won't get the time to steal the libraries free internet) Just click the little votey thingy please and thankyou! It's so simple! Unless it doesn't work for you, but if it doesn't work... then you can always comment ;D Anyways, enough harassing about VOTING (note the subliminal message) here's chapter 10!

The sun streamed in through my window, waking me. I didn't mind though, the heat of its concentrated rays on me felt like absolute bliss. I laid there in content, smiling to myself.

After a few minutes, I rolled over on my side. Something stopped me from reaching the other side of the bed. Scrunching up my face, I forced my eyes open to see Talon, deep in sleep, lying in my bed next to me.

My brain still muddled with sleep, I simply shoved him off the bed. He landed on the floor with a satisfying thump.

I stretched out across the bed, deliberately taking up all the space.

"Hey!" I heard him protest, his voice thick with sleep. I let out a soft chuckle before I quickly fell back to sleep.

I woke again, this time I yawned and stretched, every bone in my body cracking. I looked over the side of the bed to see Talon on the floor, propping himself up on his elbow staring at me, with a slightly disgusted look on his face.

"What?" I frowned.

"Do your joints always crack up like that?"

"Pretty much." I shrugged.

"Then you must have some pretty funny bones!" he roared with laughter.

I buried my face in my pillow and protested against his ability to joke so early in the morning, "Shut up, it's too early for humour." Although it came out sounding more like, "shup, is oo early for humouuuur."

He laughed, "Ooo, someone's grumpy."

"I'm not a morning person." I grumbled.

"Ha, too bad it's not morning."

I lifted my head a fraction and peeked at the clock. Sure enough, it was two o'clock. My eyes widened as I noticed the date in the corner of the screen. August eighth. Belle's birthday.

"Ah it's Belle's birthday!" I yelled, rolling off the bed onto Talon, sheets and all.

"Oof! Did I tell you already you're heavy? Because you really are."

I scowled at him, "That shouldn't hurt you, being immortal and all."

"Just because that didn't hurt me doesn't mean I can't judge weight." He laughed at me.

"Shut up and get out so I can get ready." I glared at him. "Why are you even here in the first place?"

"I live on the other side of the island remember? I have to place to stay. Besides, now I can say I slept with you." He smirked at me.
