Okay so here's chapter 16. I was practically kicking myself to finish this and get it up. I kept saying 'maybe I'll finish tomorrow...' but then the other side of me was like 'NO JUST KEEP ON TRUCKIN' so by the time I was finished my internal debate I realized that I was pretty much finished the chapter. I know it's like a week everytime I upload, and if that's too long a waiting time then I'm sorry & too bad. Haha I sound like a BeaversInTransCanadaHighway. (congrats if you figure that one out) Anyways my father needs the computer so here is the chapter....

I was practically bouncing in my seat with excitement, I just couldn't keep still. The four of us were talking animatedly about the next few weeks. We were at the airport now, and were earning ourselves quite a few looks.

"Oh my gosh! I hope we get to go swimming! And we're going to Edmonton! Can somebody say shopping please? This is so freaking exciting!" Belle exclaimed loudly.

"Guys... I hope you're not forgetting the actual reason of our trip." Talon interjected, looking sombre. Our group hushed instantly, and we got even more weird looks at our sudden silence.

"WHEN we get Summer back, then we can have fun." Sam said confidently. We all nodded in agreement. They resumed their happy chatting, but with less heart. I instead fell into a reserved silence.

Questions like 'How are these people going to help us save Summer?' and 'What are they like?', ran through my head over and over.

'It's not going to be easy.'

Well then why is everyone going about it like there's nothing to worry about? I thought back.

'Denial, they're keeping their worries to themselves, they don't want to get themselves worked up over it. You take your pick.'

Or maybe they really believe there is nothing to this rescue mission.

'That could be true. I mean really, you don't even know who has her, or what they want with her.'

I know, and not knowing is what scares me the most.

'They'll probably want to train you.'

Train us to do what?

'Fight.'

At that moment I was pulled out of my internal conversation, before I could question myself further. How weird does that sound? I'm giving myself answers to my own questions. Yup, I must be going crazy.

"Come on Phoenix, we need to board now." Talon nudged my shoulder gently, and I jolted upright surprised. Oops, that was a little too fast. I swayed a little on my feet as my vision went starry. Before I had a chance to fall, Talon grabbed my elbow and righted me. I looked at him, blinking rapidly.

"Uhh, Thanks." I said, still unsure of myself. We made our way over to the desk to show our passports, Talon held onto my arm the whole way. As we stepped onto the plane, I noticed it was divided into three seats on each side. I looked at my plane ticket and made a beeline to the window seat. I sat down in it and held up my carry on to Sam, looking at him expectantly with an innocent expression on my face.

He sighed. "Pass it to me." I threw my bag at him and he stowed it away up top. Belle sat in the seat next to me, and then Sam on the outside. Talon stood in the isle glaring at me, and turned to his seat across from us, only to find someone sitting in it.

"Um, excuse me Miss, but you're sitting in my seat." I heard him say politely.

"Oh I'm sorry! But could I please take this seat? Me and my daughter got our seats separated and I really don't want to leave her up here by herself." The woman asked expectantly.
