3rd person POV

Yo gulped as he stared at Montree's phone. Montree had a satisfied grin on his face while the twins were just staring at him curiously. Fatty was still trying to get close to him but Redh and Nate managed to keep him on his seat.

Yo just shook his head. He couldn't believe his friends would do something like this just to get some information about him...and Forth. He honestly doesn't have anything to hide but for some reason, he doesn't want others to know about his own thoughts of Forth. People might judge him and he doesn't want that attention to himself.

Yo shrugged the twins off of him and they let him. Montree narrowed his eyes at him but he didn't stop him when he went to his chair. They all followed him as they waited patiently for him to explain. Yo dropped his bag on the floor and plopped his butt on his seat. He looked at his friends and sighed.

"Why do you want to know?" he finally asked.

Montree was quick to answer. "Just what are you, E'Yo? You have managed to magnet two campus moons already and it's just the second day of classes."

Yo nodded at the statement. "I'm just a simple guy." he said. "I'm no campus moon magnet. I just happen to know them."

"How do you know them?" Jay asked.

"Well you do know P'Beam, right? The first runner up campus moon from meds?" Yo asked them and they all nodded. "Well, he's my older brother."

They all gasped at the information. Yo was a bit of surprised. They know P'Ming was the campus moon but they didn't know who his runner up is? Yo suddenly got the feeling to pity his brother. And I though he was popular.(Well, technically he still is.), Yo thought to himself.

"P'Beam is your brother?!" the twins exclaimed excitedly. "Why didn't you tell us?"

Yo shrugged. "I don't see a reason why I should." he replied. "Besides, I just found out about it just yesterday as well."

"So you meant to say you got close to P'Ming and P'Forth because of P'Beam?" Montree asked.

Yo nodded. Finally, Montree has his answer and he was sure he would let him go now.

"But Yo, why do you seem so cold to him?" Nate asked him curiously.

Yo looked at Nate, raising an eyebrow. "What do you mean, Nate? And I was cold to who?"

"P'Forth. You were acting strangely cold to him yesterday during his speech. And today at the cafeteria as well."

Yo internally cursed himself. He didn't expect Nate to be so sharp to notice his actions. He just gave a weak smile to Nate and shrugged his shoulders.

"I wasn't cold." he lied. "I just didn't want to let the others know that I know him. People might talk about how close we are and there could be problems for us during the competition."

Nate seemed to ponder on his reply. She nodded her head as well as the rest. It seems like they get the same idea as well.

"I agree with you." Nate said. "It would be bad if you are close to P'Forth and then you would win the competition. They might think he would be biased just because you guys know each other."

Yo nodded meekly. It was partly his reason but he also didn't want to elaborate it further. He could just let it be as his explanation. That could lessen his problems with Montree snooping on him.

The gang finally let him off the hook and their lectures resumed. When they were dismissed, he and Nate went to the practice hall again. Beam was there, along with Kit. They both greeted them before going inside the room to join the other representatives. Yo noticed that Ming, Pha, and Forth are nowhere to be seen and he was quite glad about it. It would lessen his distraction without Ming smirking at him, and Pha and Forth watching him intently.
