Kit's POV

I can't believe it. How could P'Ming give his permission just like that? I thought he would make it the hardest for P'Forth. Apparently not. Now I'm the only one left. What should I do now?

I stormed back to our table, making Yo sit in the middle and asked P'Beam to seat on Yo's other side. I need to make him stay away from P'Forth but I guess I wan't lucky with that since P'Forth is sitting in front of Yo, while my brother is foolishly enjoying his seat in front of P'Beam. I got the poorest luck for having Pha sit in front of me. Bummer.

While I'm not stupid not to notice that things had changed between my brother and P'Beam, I still can't believe what's going on. Sure, things could be easily interpreted as close bonding between friends but come on, they are far from that closeness before. All changed after the kiss they shared on P'Beam's birthday. I'm sure, somebody else could see that.

What do I say to it if you might ask? Well, I could definitely approve of P'Beam as an in-law. It's not like we haven't been a family since we were young but I'm sure it's nice to have him in our family legally as well.

I looked at P'Ming who was busily handing a piece of meat towards P'Beam. I scowled. Could he be any more obvious? They're acting like a couple already even though they aren't..yet?

A hand extended towards Yo's plate and he looked up to see who it was. It's P'Forth of course. The tanned giant is also handing him some meat and Yo glared at him. Hmm...seems like someone doesn't appreciate someone. I could see P'Forth pouting as he retracted his hand. Pha on the other hand, was chowing on his food heartily. Greedy jerk!(I hope he chokes....oh he did! Serves him right. Hahahaha!)

Pha hastily grabbed the nearest cup he could grab and downed it immediately. I saw Yo gaped at him and realized it was Yo's drink he had taken.

"P'Pha!" Yo exclaimed. "You took my drink!"

P'Forth smacked Pha at the back of his head. Yo pouted at Pha.

"Sorry N', I'll buy you another one." Pha said.

"Buy it now." Yo replied sulkily.

"Let me buy it for you, N'Yo." P'Forth said.

"No need." Yo snapped at him. "P'Pha..."

Yo looked at Pha and the jerk finally obliged, leaving the table to buy another cup. When he came back, he happily handed Yo the cup before sitting down. Yo also took the moment to drink on it.

"Hey N', we just had our first kiss!" Pha commented teasingly.

Surprised, Yo almost spit back the drink. He tried to hold it down causing him to choke instead. P'Beam was rubbing his back gently while P'Ming was chuckling in front of him. I glared at Pha while he tried to keep his smug expression. I could feel P'Forth tensing beside me and another smack to the head was delivered to Pha.

"What the heck, P'Forth!" Pha grumbled.

Tch! That wasn't hard at all. If it were me who would hit him, he would probably have passed out. I really want to punch his not-so-pretty face.

Our lunch went on without much interventions. I could see how hard P'Forth tried to make Yo look his way but my best friend totally ignored him. I almost felt sorry for P'Forth. But then I would remember what I had witnessed and how happy he was when P'Ming gave his permission, which is still a mystery to me. How did he do it? I'm sure as hell P'Ming was intending P'Forth to do hard work for it. What had happened between them?
