Chapter 27a: Making plans

Forth's POV

N'Kit stormed off towards our table, fuming towards Ming. Poor nong, I'm guessing he feels betrayed? After all, Ming just gave me his green light and maybe, N'Kit was expecting him to make it hard for me. (Sorry kid, I have something against your brother that he just can't resist.) I guess I'm really lucky with how things worked out with Ming, but what should I do about N'Kit?

Ming and I followed his brother back to our table. He purposely sat beside Yo and even asked Beam to seat with them. Beam just shrugged and moved to Yo's side, sandwiching Yo in between. Pha sat on my left, facing Kit, and Ming sat on my right, facing Beam. I sat in the middle with Yo in front of me, making me happy.

We started eating our meal and I could see how Beam blushes as Ming attended to him. Ming keeps on dumping his food on Beam's plate, urging him to eat more. Ming has a goofy smile in his face and his eyes were annoyingly bright and full of love as he watches Beam.

On my other side, I feel like I'm facing antartica. N'Kit was totally glaring coldly at me but that wasn't enough compared to how he looks at Pha. If this nong's eyes has claws in it, I'm sure Pha would be full of scratches by now. And Pha, the idiot, doesn't seem to mind N'Kit glaring at him, nor the fact that nong is already in a sour mood and Pha's making it worse. I could only mentally facepalm myself for my cousin's stupidity.

Meanwhile, Yo is busily playing around with his food. It seems like N'Kit has already told him about what Ming did because he's shooting deathly glares at him once in a while. I tried to get his attention but he kept his eyes down, making me unable to catch his eyes.

We were all finishing our lunch, just in time for our next classes. Thankfully, Beam made Yo eat his lunch. Before Ming and I left for our classes, I bought Yo his favourite pinkmilk and made Ming give it to him. I could see how he begrudgingly accepted the drink and eventually enjoyed sipping on it. I gave a soft smile at the scene before Ming and I finally left for class.

I honestly couldn't concentrate on the lecture. My mind is off, wondering what I should do to get N'Kit's permission. I opened my phone to text Ming but an idea suddenly hit me in the head. Instead of texting Ming, I checked my photo album and grinned happily when I saw the pictures I had managed to save from Pha's phone. (I sneaked in his room to steal some blackmail materials and the videos that I wanted while he's in the shower. Hahaha!)

Pictures of him and N'Kit from Beam's birthday opened up and I silently viewed them one by one. As I scrolled on them, I began to formulate a plan. I think I'm desperate enough to be using such method but I don't care. I just want Yo with me.

When my last class is done, I called Pha to meet me. He asked me to go to their faculty and I did. I saw him waiting in their cafeteria with Beam. I frowned. I don't want to talk about my plan with Beam around. Maybe I'll just talk to Pha about it later. But I'm here now...

"Hi Beam!" I greeted as I approached them.

"P'Forth? What are you doing here?" Beam asked.

"I want to talk to Pha." I replied. "But you guys seems busy so maybe I'll just talk to him later." I replied.

Pha shot me a puzzled look while Beam was curious. He didn't press on the matter though, which is what I'm grateful about. Minutes later, Ming came and picked Beam up, inviting us along for a movie. I waved them off and told them to enjoy their time, earning a smirk from Ming and a blush from Beam. I chuckled happily as they went on their way and when I turned to face my cousin, he was actually eyeing me suspiciously.
