Chapter 21: Boyfriend?

AN: Hi guys. I know the last chapter wasn't that satisfying because Yo didn't still tell Forth the truth but hey, patience is virtue. Let's just leave that at this pace for now. It won't be long anyway.

Yo's POV

 "If you hate me like you claim to be, you wouldn't ask me to be your boyfriend." he said and I gaped at him.  

What did he just say? Did I just hear him say I asked him to be my boyfriend?

"What? You think I won't remember?" he asked me.

"I...That...I..." I actually didn't know what to say.

Should I apologize for it? Should I explain it? Maybe I should. I mean, I'm not exactly interested in making him  my boyfriend now, am I?

"I think you're mistaken." I told him quietly.

"What?"

"I...Well if you remember what had happened, then you should know why I did that." I told him.

He was looking at me, confused. I thought he remembers what had happened.

"That was just a dare, alright." I said, making things clearer. "Kit told me to ask you out because we were still playing the dare and he saw you passed out. He thought you wouldn't know about it."

The look on his face changed, emotions flitted across them quickly. When he finally settled on his feelings, his eyes were blank and his face was totally expressionless. I hadn't miss the fact that I saw pain, frustration, and anger among other things in his eyes a minute ago. Why would he feel those?

"It was a dare." he muttered flatly.

I nodded. "I know it was wrong of me to do it but I didn't expect that you would remember."

"You know I did gave my reply right?" he asked.

Oh shit! Yeah, he did.

"What about it?" I asked, trying to sound uncaring.

"I still stand by it." he replied.

What?! Did he just--

"I'm sorry, I don't know what you mean." I blurted out.

"I accepted you as my boyfriend, didn't I?" he says. "I still stand by it."

I felt my jaw drop. Is he really telling me what I think he's telling me?

"You don't get it?" he asks.

"Are you saying you want to be my boyfriend?" I asked him.

"I am already your boyfriend." he replied.

I scoffed at him. I can't believe this is happening. Did he not get what I said? Did he not understand that it was all a dare?

"Are you kidding me?!" I exclaimed. "You're not my boyfriend. No way!"

"You asked me that and I accepted. So now we're a couple." he retorted.

"That was a dare! It was just a game." I told him.

"I don't care if it was a dare. I already accepted it when you asked so that means I would be your boyfriend." he insisted.

I shook my head. This is so not happening. What have I gotten myself into? Stupid Kit! I should have known better not to trust him with his dares. He always gets me into trouble.
