Forth's POV

Shit! Why is Beam here?! And Ming too! Did Pha tell them already?

"B..Beam?" I called him hesitantly.

"Give my brother back to me, P'Forth." he told me in a cold voice.

I shook my head as I held onto Yo tightly.

"Beam..." I say again.

He turned to Ming and said: "Take Yo back to our room."and he tossed him their apartment key.

N'Kit stood up and took the key from Ming.

"Take Yo from P'Forth." he says. "I'll go get the door."

Ming approached me and I backed away trying to keep Yo away from Ming. I heard Beam growl and I reluctantly gave Yo to Ming. Ming looked at Beam and he just signaled for him to go. He and N'Kit left, leaving the three of us behind.

Beam looked at me, his eyes seething in anger. I visibly gulped as I try to plaster a smile.

"I think I should leave you guys to talk." Pha said as he started to rise from his seat but Beam shot him a furious glare, stopping him immediately.

He sat back down like a resigned puppy and glanced at me with pleading eyes. What can I do? I'm in trouble too, buddy.

"You think he could save you?" Beam mockingly asked him. "He's in the same predicament as you are."

True.

Pha looked down on his lap, ashamed and continued to massage his face. (What happened to his face? Did Beam punch him? Oh shit, I'm in very serious trouble.) Beam turned to look at me and I gave my best to look at him with pleading eyes too.

"What are you pleading for?" he hissed at me.

"We need to talk." I said.

"Yeah. The hell we need to." he retorted. "Why don't you start telling me about why my brother is unconscious."

I sighed. I shouldn't have brought Yo here. I thought we'd be safe but damn! Beam's here already. And he looks so mad right now that he's scary to deal with.

"Why exactly is my brother unconscious?" he asked me again.

"I..uh.." how should I say this?

"You drugged him?" Beam asked. "Like what Pha did to him and N'Kit?"

I looked at Pha who just shrugged at me, giving up on his fate. I guess he already confessed his sins to Beam and Beam really beat him up. I guess I'm next on the death row too. (Oh heck, what am I thinking?!)

"I'm sorry I did it." I apologized. "He tried to ran away again when I told him we're coming back."

Beam huffed. "Why exactly did you kidnapped my brother? You could have talked to him normally too, you know. Or if you can't you could have informed me of your plan instead of making me worry like this and ask your jerk of a cousin to lie to me."

Pha frowned at being called a jerk but dude, I honestly didn't ask him to lie. I guess he's guilty of that.

"I didn't know what to do. When Yo ran away, I panicked." I admitted. "All I could think of was how to get him and take him away where he can't run from me."
