I walk my way to my locker when I arrive at school. I was a bit late than usual as my car has a problem and I need my mom's ride to school. But I think I'm not that lucky when I see Natasha and her friends at my locker already looking at me. I mean glaring at me.

"What are you guys doing here?" I don't look at her face and try to open my locker. But my action was stopped by Natasha.

"I'm here to warning you. Stay away from Ryan. Or you will know the consequence." She pulls up my wrist. And she's holding it too tight for my liking.

I pull away from her grip.

"And why should I do that?" I look at her.

"Because he will be mine. And I don't you to come in the way." She pushes his index finger at my shoulder.

"Go on. It's not that I like him. If he likes you, you don't have to worry about me." I cross my hand over my chest trying to look cool although my heart was racing right now. I don't know what she will do to me.

"Of course he likes me. You think he likes you if you went to the theatre together? I just don't want you to be hurt." She puts on a smirk. She thinks I will be scared with that smirk?

"I didn't say that. And I don't use such a dirty way to seduce him like you. Then, it's not my fault if he likes me. I suggest you meet him and see if he accepts your feelings. Only if he interested on your body." It's my time to smirk and I open my locker to take my books.

"You sure are stubborn, aren't you? You dare to talk back, huh? You know what? I already warned you. So, dont blame me if you don't listen to my advice." She pushes my shoulder and pulls my hair tie. Yes, my hair is a mess and you know how much I hate that. She throws the hair tie at my head and it falls on the floor. I just close my eyes and decided not to look at her as she already walk away with her friends' laugh. The two bimbos.

I am about to pick up my hair tie when someone reaches out to hand it to me.

"Thank you." I tuck my hair behind my ear only to see Ryan's face.

"Are you okay?" He asks me.

"You see. I'm still alive. So yeah, I'm okay." I put my books back in my locker to tie my hair into ponytail again.

"I thought I told you, you look better with your hair loose." He leans at the locker next to mine while looking at me doing my hair.

I take a look at the mirror in my locker to fix my hair. After I'm satisfied, I look back at him.

"I'm not going to school to look 'better' though. Someone will kill me if I look too pretty." I'm just kidding with that but it's true that Natasha always has this jealousy if she sees someone looking better than her.

"What do you mean? I didn't see anyone prettier than you." He puts his hands in his pockets which shows his muscle more.

"Haha. Funny. I think that girl doesn't get enough love. Why don't you give her some?" I take my books back and close my locker.

"Who? Natasha? And why would I?" He says while we are walking to our first class.

"Don't you know that she likes you?"

"Of course I know she's just acting slutty. And it's not the best criteria that I like." He shrugs his shoulders.

"Oh, now I'm confessing her feeling for you and you already rejected her?"

"Kind of. She will forget about it soon."

"Well, she always has someone to play with. I think she will move on quickly." We actually laugh at that. I don't know what is so funny but it actually fun to be joking with Ryan.

"Pleaseeee, Abby......." Harley starts to make her cute face.

"You know I'm not interested in basketball." I make a boring face.

"I know. But it's the only way I can see Alex playing basketball. You know how long I've waited to see his lovely biceps, right?" She holds my hand and clinging like a baby.

"Euw, gross. Why don't you just go by yourself?"

"But, I want to go with you. Pleaseeeeeee." She starts to act annoying now and I know she will not stop until I say yes.

"Okay, okay. But, you drive." I just accept her idea since I don't have anything to do either this Saturday.

"Yeayyyyyyyyy! I love you, A! Anything for you, babe!" She hugs me tightly and jumping like a little girl who got a teddy bear.

"Harley, I can't breath." I pat her back and she let me go.

"Uh, sorry. I'm just too excited."

Yes, I can see that clearly. This day can't be any worse, right? Shaking my head.

I decided to stay at the library until 5 p.m bacuse I need to wait my mom go back from work.

I look at the watch in the library. It's already 5, so I pack my things up and go to the front gate to wait my mother. I can see a few students on my way which I believe have sports training in the evening. The training must be over too.

While waiting for my mother, I take out my phone and earphones and play some good songs. Suddenly, a car stops in front of me. Of course, I know whose car is it because he's the only person who drives Mustang. He rolls down the window.

"Your mom called me. She said she needs to work overtime. So she asked me to give you a ride."

What? And why she didn't tell me about that? She called Ryan but not me?

"Are you coming in or not?" I look at him and immediately get into his car.

"Thank you." I can see that his hair is still wet from the shower he took after his basketball training. He smells good actually.

"My pleasure." He drives away.

"Sorry for that. You must be tired from the training." I humbly apologize as I think I should.

"Not really. I'm still felling anergize." He keeps his eyes on the road.

"Uh, you must be training for the high school tournaments, right?"

"You know. Are you saying that you are interested in me right now?" He looks at me and lift up his eyebrows.

"Euw, no. Harley told me and she asked me to watch it just because she wanted to see Alex playing basketball. I'm not really interested in basketball though." I answer his question and look out the window.

"I think you will after you see me playing." Seriously this boy. How can he be so narcissistic?

"Whatever."

And without realising, we already in front of my house.

"I think you should practise with your self-compliment. But still, thank you." I take off the seatbelt and ready to get out.

"You has thanked me for a million times already. But still, you're welcome." He always knows how to make fun of me.

I wave him goodbye and get into my house. What a bad day. It's okay. It's just a bad day, not a bad life.
