I'm Waiting For You

Chapter 52 ❤️ Not happy ❤️

"I don't know why I tell you this. I think I trust you enough for that and no one will know, okay?" Natasha informs me.

"Of course. It's your privacy. Even though I feel like people need to know that, it is still by your rights."

So, she told me that she's going to LA because her Mom found someone after all these years they've been together in a family of three without a father. He got a job promotion in LA and their family decided to go there to start their new life. I think that's also the best since it's not easy for her Mom to accept new man in her life. Natasha, of course wants to graduate here with her friends. "But, I rather see my Mom being happy than myself because I can't remember the last time I see her as happy as now." she says. I get her though. Seeing your Mom happy is another level of happiness. 

I gave a text to Brynn and Claire informing them that Natasha was sick as they blocked her. They called right away though and promised to meet tonight. I hope they resolve their problems before Natasha leaves. At least she knows someone is missing her here when she left.

I'm about to stand up after the conversation and Natasha too. I offer her a ride home but she refuses and says that she can drive. She doesn't want to leave her car at school. Suddenly, someone knocks on the door twice.

We look up to see Adam and the gang open up the door. They walk inside with lazy faces.

"What are you guys doing here? I'm not dead yet I believe." Natasha says while wearing her shoes and sits on the bed.

I fold up her blanket neatly and looking at them, I know they are forced to come here.

"Well, basically we can't go home without Ben and Ryan because they drive us here so yeah we'll need to at least say hi I guess since we're already here." Adam says and sits on the chair that I sat a while ago while tucking his hands in his hoodie's pockets.

"Are you okay? Anything serious?" Ben asks sincerely and we all know he has a huge ass crush on Natasha, it's obvious.

"Nope. I'm okay. Getting better."

"I heard you were vomiting? Are you pregnant?" Alex asks out of nowhere and I widen my eyes at him and Harley, seeing that she is beside him now.

Harley hits Alex's shoulder, "Alex! Watch your mouth!"

"Ouch! What? I'm just asking!"

"It's okay, Harley. If you're wondering, no, I'm not. I just have a bad period cramp. Sometimes I throw up. Or maybe can't walk. Like today." She smiles a little.

The other boys just nod their heads. I think they all have the same question answered now. Well, boys.

"So, you go home with Abby? Or?" Ryan asks.

"Yeah, I can drive you home though." Ben offers, I just smirk knowing that he will be rejected in that. I asked first.

"No!" The boys start talking in unison.

Natasha just laughs a little, "No, Ben. It's okay. I am completely fine and can drive. You seem like you have a full car." She shrugs.

"Wait, you know my name?" Ben asks with shock face.

"Why don't her? We are literally the basketball team though." William says like he can't believe that Ben just asks that.

"Yes, of course I know you. I was the captain of the cheerleader team. I know every sport boy in this school basically."

"Yeah, you're right" Ben replies while scratching the back of his head that shows he's embarrassed just asked that.

"Wait, what do you mean by 'was'? Does anyone replace your role?" Adam asks and sits straightly.

"Yes, most probably it would be Olivia because she's my assistant but I'm still discussing with the coach. Why? You have any specific name you want to nominate?"

Adam scoffs, "As if. I mean why would you give it to someone else?"

Natasha looks at me and I just nod and smiles. Even Harley is confused with that let alone the others.

"I'm moving to LA this end of the year. Which means, I won't be here next year."

"What?!" The boys (and Harley) say in unison. As I expected.

"I'm planning to go quietly but I guess I can't now and you guys should at least know. Since I've been doing my first cheerleading with you guys." She just shrugs. I get that though. They might not in term of like really close friends with each other but Natasha is always there in every of their game. Even if they are not close, they watch each other grows up. She literally supports them in every game and I can see how that makes her feel for not being there for their last year of school. And I know the guys must feel it too. 

"Okay, but why? We'll graduate next year, right? Can't you wait until then?" It's Ben.

"I hope I can. But, that's all that I can tell you. No more details."

Ryan looks at me and whispers, "Why is it?"

I just frown and shake my head at him. I won't tell you anything.

"But you tell Abby. I mean we deserve to know too, right?" Ben asks again.

"Abby? Well, we made a deal. I give her Ryan and she keeps my secret. Pretty nice, right?"

I almost choke at her statement and William already clearing his throat. But the others are seriously not taking that as an excuse while making lazy faces.

"Okay, I'm just kidding. You guys are no fun."

"Well, it's okay though if you don't want to tell us. It's your privacy." Adam decides.

Suddenly, William touches Ben shoulder and says, "Sorry for you, bro. You have 3 months only now." Ben pushes his hand away and I can see he's blushing.

"What? You like me? I don't think you should." Natasha asks casually and scoffs.

"Bold." Alex says while smirking.

"Um... Yeah. But I don't think I have the chance now." Ben says quietly.

"Right. I don't do relationship. But, being friends is okay if you want." She pats Ben shoulder.

"Wait, Natasha. Is this really you? You sure you don't knock your head somewhere?" William says and I think he just pointed out what everyone's feel. Because of course they will feel weird about her being like this.

"I'm perfectly fine, Will. Why? Can't I be a little kind? I will move this year so at least let me leave a good impression for you guys."

"Nothing. It looks a little awkward on you but I'd like to see that." Adam replies.

"Wait. Did I just got friendzoned in front of you guys? Ugh, this is so embarrassing!" Ben whining realizing that thing.

We all laugh at his reaction and start to tease him. I'm relieved that at least some people know Natasha is not that bad even though they don't know her story.

"So, we'll stay here or what?" That's very Harley. I know she's hungry and that's why she asks. We all say our goodbyes before going our separate ways.
