          LAILA'S POV

“Okay, okay”. Hellzel reluctantly agreed. “But first, say you're sorry and that you really need my help”.

“Seriously?” I asked, in disbelief. When I glanced over at Hellzel, he refused to turn around.

“Ugh… Fine. Let me just get this over with,” I grumbled under my breath.

"I am sorry and I need your help. Now, can you stop this already and take me home?”
" I can't hear you,” Hellzel taunted me in a sing-song voice. His back was still turned.

"I said, I am sorry and I really need your help!”
“That’s better”. He then turned towards me. “Was it really that hard to admit you need my help?"

I just remained silent as he put a masculine arm around my shoulders. I tilted my head on his broad chest as we headed to his car.

"You’re such an ass-” before I even completed my sentence, I hit the floor and landed smack on my ass.

"Fuck! Why did you do that? It hurts, you know”.  In response to my whining, Hellzel scooped me into his arms again.
"That should warn you not to call me an asshole ever again". He opened the passenger door with his left hand, tightening his grip on me with his right. He then gently lay me down on the plush seat, closing the door behind him.

"I wasn't gonna call you that,” I protested as he walked to the other side of the car and got in, ready to drive.

"…Asshole.”

Hellzel’s head whipped around suddenly, his eyes ablaze with fury. "I told you to not call me that! Since you can't obey a simple order, I’m not gonna drive you home,” he stated as he started the car engine and trueness onto the road.

"Then where are you gonna drive me to? Hell? Where I'll watch you slow dancing with the devil?  Uh, no thanks. I am not in the mood for a hell show today”.

Hellzel glanced over at me briefly, his bangs creating dark shadows over his eyes. He then faced the road once again and opened his mouth to answer.

“ I’m gonna drive you to my place where I’m gonna fuck your ass up". His tone was serious and he wasn't making any eye contact with me. There and then, I knew I shouldn't have messed up with him in this state.

"Whaaaaat....." is all I could say after we pulled up to a huge building. My head throbbed painfully, all of my thoughts jumbled into an incoherent mess.

My heart pounded furiously in my chest as Hellzel came to pick me up from the passenger's seat.

I felt worry crushing my spirit because I couldn't trust such a guy. Knowing how rude he had been to me previously didn't help my state of mind either.

Oddly enough, I also felt excited that Hellzel was taking me to his apartment. Me? Although we've never seemed to get along at anything, at least he was someone I knew and it wasn't Don.

I never thought I would ever find myself in this situation. I felt a chill run up my spine as I thought of Hellzel, but still I was afraid of what'd happen in there. With just the two of us, alone in his house....

"Laila,” he pulled me from my deep thoughts. “Are you okay?"
One of his hand held the leather chair while the  other held my chin turning my face so that his lilac blue eyes bore right into into mine. He opened his mouth to speak and all my attention shifted to his pink wet lips.
I felt Hellzel’s hands snake around my back and under my knees as he scooped me up from the chair. My hands immediately went around his neck to steady myself. His eyebrows arched and a smirk spread across his face as we headed to the elevator.

"Are you thinking of my cute lips?" He said without bothering to look at me.

“Where did that come from, ass...." I stopped mid-sentence as I remembered he was carrying me. If I said something stupid he would drop me like a piece of shit.

"Who said that?" I finished, and he finally looked at me.
"You did. You were staring at my lips and licking yours. Everyone knows what that means ”. He pressed the opening button of the elevator. It was empty.

"You can put me down now. It’s not like I don't have legs”. We entered the elevator as he pressed the button numbered 10 and moved two steps back.

"Make me,” he stated simply, smirking again. His eyes lit with a bright sparkle, a look of mischief spreading across his face. A few strands of his dreads fell across his face, and he tilted his head so I could see his breathtaking eyes. He looked so hot with a smile on his face. It made my mind wander again, but I quickly vanished any of those thought from my head.

I always loved to see him like this. Not so serious with life and playful like a normal person. It wasn’t the same when I was with Don. Every time we were together I had to behave in a certain manner to impress him. I couldn't talk back to him. If he told me to sit, I obeyed his commands. I was like a robot around him, always following the rules for fear of being punished. With Don I had to comply to his specific customs but with Hellzel, I was always myself. I spoke my mind without fearing that I’d be judged or punished. I could laugh out loud and not feel like I've done anything wrong.

"Ouch!" I hit the couch, my bones vibrating from the impact. Weren’t couches supposed to be soft and full of cushions?
I didn't realize how fast we arrived in his house. It was a mini paradise, I say. White walls and tiles, a 32 inch flat-screen TV that was pressed in the wall. An L-shaped black leather couch and an intricately patterned glass table in the middle of the sitting room. Below the table, a huge fuzzy teddy bear lay on a plush black carpet that covered the little sitting area.

Huh. I didn’t take Hellzel as the stuffed animal type.

Two little chairs were arranged on both sides of the couch. The whole room was lit by a crystal chandelier hanging from the ceiling. Glancing down, I noticed that Hellzel threw me into a white loveseat that was lacking in cushioning.

I shifted my attention over to Hellzel. He had an intense expression on his face, but his eyes were unreadable.

Finally, I landed in hell. Beautiful hell.
