Laila's POV

I'm in jail.
The words ran over and over again in my mind as I sat on the couch. Tania followed me at the station and I also decided to call Vicky to accompany us. Tania had refused at first but I told her he was his cousin, that he deserved to know.
The police refused us to see Hellboy saying it was late that we go the following day. What had he done to be taken to jail? I knew he was violent, but I hoped that wasn't the case.
"I'll make tea for both of you now", Vicky said raising from his sitting position and walking towards the kitchen.
" fuck off asshole. Go back to your pigstime", Tania hissed and we both turned to her. What was wrong with her? Why was she being so moody? Since the restaurant, she had not changed, she had been grumpy and irritated all the time.
"Tania, relax. He will be okay. We'll go see him together tomorrow", I rubbed her back reassuring her. Poor girl, she was mad coz her best friend was in jail and there was no other way to relax other than hiss at the poor guy.
" no, he has to leave. I don't know what he's even doing here. Zell never liked him any bit", she said throwing her hands in the air, shouting. Since the hospital I hadn't had the chance to rest and everything Jackie told me couldn't come out of my mind. And my head was hurting as hell. It was already 12:37am and I needed to sleep.
"Guys", I said standing up.
" you have to find a common ground to stay together the whole night now that I'm going to sleep. My head is hurting to much", I walked across the room feeling their eyes watching me.
"I'm going to sleep too. I can't stay here with this douche bag", she said walking towards Hellboy's bedroom. What the heck. There was no wat I'd allow her to sleep there. I don't even know why it bothered me but I felt I wouldn't allow her to.
" you can't sleep in there Tania", she turned back to much, eyes wide open and eyebrows raised. Oh please roll those eye the way but no sleeping in his bed.
"You can't be serious. I don't see how that is a problem. I've always slept there when I came for sleepovers", she said and I laughed melancholy. Slept together with Hellboy? Why'd he allow her to when I've never slept there? Stupid me why do I even suddenly want to sleep there? He's just a friend. Roommate that's all. Right?
" that's not true." I said even before I could catch the words. Vicky stared at me but there was no way I'd allow her to sleep there.
"I sleep in that bed. Ithink you should take the guests room", I blunted out not even minding what I was saying and the glares I was receiving from both Vicky and Tania. God what is wrong with me? J said that knowing all my clothes were in that guests room she'd know I was lying to her.
She bursted out laughing getting me by surprise
" you sleep with my cousin the same bed?and you...", Tania continued to chuckle. What's up with her? What was going through her mind? She majestically walked towards me smirking.
"Don't worry asshole, she just want us to believe how special she is yo Zell", was that what I was doing?
" and the first day she slept here, I found here in the fucking guest room', so she knew all along I was staying here and she never even bothered to greet me the day she was in that house? I didn't even realise my blood boing in me. And she had the guts to ask why I didn't even tell her why I didn't tell her?
"And now she wants us to think she has been promoted to the prince's bedroom", her words hit me like a punch. I didn't believe it was Tania talking to me like that. I only asked her not to sleep in his room and suddenly it happened she knew even the room I had been sleeping in?
" well lemmi tell you stupid girl, Zell will never be the man you want him to become. He loves somebody else amd that person loves him back.He'll never love you more than his sister because that's what you are. So stop forcing yourself on somebody who can never look at you twice", the moment she finished that sentence, my palm had connected with her face and Vicky was behind me trying to stop me. Tania stood there, cupping her cheek with her mouth open.
"So who else happens to love him genius coz according to me, Rymana is in the DL. So who else loves him,you?", her face hardened. Sister? I'll never be Hellboy's sister. She only wanted me to believed they loved each other and give up on him. Well it wasn't going to happen, bitch.
" you're so naive. You stay in this house all day and pretend not to connect with the world and then you think you have it all. You don't know shit. You should probably ask Zell what he did. Go ask him what he knows and I'll love to watch you cry yourself to bed", she shouted walking away to the front door and leaving me and Vicky totally in shock.
