(Missi's POV)
The next morning Maggie went outside, gobbled her food, then took off to greet her daddy.
She was up on the bed, sprawled out beside Shannon as I entered the bedroom.
'So much for clean sheets.' Shannon said smiling.
'But you have two gorgeous bitches in your bed.' I said laying down beside them.
'Yes I do.' He said, and Maggie gave him a big wet kiss.
We made plans to go to the beach, and I could hardly wait.
(Shannon's POV)
'This feels divine.' Missi cooed as her feet sunk into the sand.
'I'm glad princess.' I said as I took her hand and we continued down the beach toward the water.
'I guess we can't have our ceremony near the water since it's cold.' She said as we walked along.
'We can find a place indoors along the water. Let's check that out tonight.'
'Are we expected to write our own vows for this type of thing?'
'I think we can do whatever we want. What do you want?'
'I guess a writer should be able to come up with something.' She said grinning.
'I loved it when you said I was like the tides. Do you remember that?'
'He's strong, funny and passionate at high tide. At low he's gentle, sweet and loving. There's nowhere else I'd rather be when I'm in his arms. That was straight from the heart and it's still true.' She said.
'You do remember.' I said stopping to wrap my arms around her. 'I'm glad you still feel that way after everything we've been through.'
'The things I love about you remain constant.'
'Same here.' I said lifting her chin and kissing her.
'Or we could say what we said at the airport once.' She chuckled.
'What was that?'
'I told you I fucking hated you and you told me you fucking hated me too.' She laughed.
'That would get a rise out of the guests. You also said you wished you could fight me. Will you still be fighting me every now and then tiger?'
'To battle is the only way we feel alive—or so the lyrics go.'
'I think I've heard that song a time or two.' I said grinning.
'What about music for the ceremony?'
'Well it just so happens that I know a good band.'
'Yeah you do. But I think the drummer might be busy that day.'
'Could be.' I chuckled.
'There's a group here in LA that I'd love to have play a song. I don't know if they're still together though.'
'The one you had written on the back of the invitation?'
'I forgot about that. It was hard hearing that song after that. It always reminded me of you.'
'It was hard for me too. It stuck in my brain.'
'I was shopping for a dress for our ceremony when I ran into Jerry.'
