When Sherlock Holmes' childhood friend disappears, he assumes he had seen the last of her and her family. That is, until her father begins to play a larger role in his career than anticipated, and she mysteriously appears back in London.
In an attempt to discover what she was up to, Mycroft begins to see the young woman much more than anticipated. And, in what used to be for his brother's advantage, he finds himself being much more selfish.
