"Trinity, Trinity, I love you more than infinity"
As the school's spring term drew near its last week Miss Murdock had begun auditions for their leaver's production of Cinderella. It was compulsory that everyone in year six was to participate in their end of year production as a thank you to the school. As usual, it was a musical.
One lunch hour during the middle of the final week, Genesis sat at a desk in a far corner of her classroom alongside Victor Trevor and Sherlock. While the boys entertained themselves with piles of word searches she was finally finishing Hamlet. Since knowing the boys she had spent more time as Bluepatch the Pirate and less as Genesis the Shakespeare fanatic. Finally closing the book for the last time she vacated her seat with a happy sigh. Hurrying over to her teacher, Genesis grins up at her while she turns from the computer. Accepting the play, Miss Murdock smiles.
"Now you've finished it will you finally audition?" Sighing, Genesis glances her shoulder at the boys before finally smiling and caving into the woman's pleas.
Knowing exactly what to do she steps back and straightens her posture. With a deep breath, she begins singing 'A Dream Is A Wish Your Makes'. The boys slowly raise their shocked to find such a high and smooth voice coming from her; Genesis' voice was not your stereotypical sweet little girl voice that was expected- she had a deeper voice than other girls her age. As she dragged out the final note a red flushed her cheeks and she wrung her hands around each other. With a small grin, she spun to see her friends as they clapped and cheered. Giggling quietly she demonstrates a half-bow before returning to the desk.
"So," smiling cheekily and fidgeting with the row of stuffed charity bears lining the desk she leans on the desk, "what's next?"

It seemed that Genesis was lucky enough for her birthday to not only fall during the Easter break but also on the warmest day on the holiday. She had woken early that morning and leapt into her parents' bed to wake them up. While Charles sat up immediately Holly rolled over with a groan, unlike her daughter she wasn't a morning person.
As the sunlight streamed into the room and gifted the birthday girl with an angelic glow, she watched as her mother rubbed her eyes and yawned widely.
"Good morning, sweetheart. Happy Birthday." As Holly sat up Charles wrapped his arms around Genesis and blew a raspberry into her cheek. "What do you want to do today?" Biting the inside of her cheek and placing a pondering finger in the hollow of it Genesis glances out of the window to see the early morning seagulls gliding over the expanse of the ocean a road away from home. Grinning at her father with an obvious idea in mind he smiles and rubs her arms. "Very well."
"Can Sherlock and Victor Trevor come too?" He agrees that the Holmeses and the Tuffins could come to the beach with them. Sighing loudly, Holly rolls over to collect the phone from it's stand knowing it would be down to her to text the parents and arrange it.
Not too long later the Magnussens were awake, dressed and sat in a circle on the carpet in the lounge with a wrapped box in hand. They waited as Trinity wandered into the room grinning down at a letter and lowering herself next to Genesis. As she slowly offered the wrapped rectangle to her little sister she fiddled with the corner happily.
Dodging the gift, Genesis snatches the letter and runs away from her sisters grip.
"Who's Anthony?" Trinity yells out and runs after her sister. Squealing, Genesis runs around her family the two girls acting as though it was a game of duck, duck goose. While they run Genesis reads some of the letter out loud. "Oh Trinity, Trinity, I love you more than infinity and if I could I would say it to you every day. But I can't because you have your head in the sky, which would explain why your eyes shine so bright." Fake gagging, she drops the letter and falls back into her space on the floor. David cocks an eyebrow.
