In AP English today we had a new student. Technically not new new. Aiden joined our class today and lucky me there was a seat open next to me. So guess who had to fill that space.

I avoided him as much as I could but then he started with the staring. I rolled my eyes and stared at him. I whsipered harshly, "Aiden. Can you please cut it out?" He rolled his eyes, "Gosh woman, not everything I do is based on you. I'm staring at the word 'deceit'. You spelt it wrong. You misplaced the 'e' with the 'i'."

I glanced at my work, his right. I quickly crossed it out and rewrote it, correctly this time.

He chuckled and mumbled under his breath, "So much for being in AP English." I stepped on his foot (on purpose) which caused a groan from him.

I chuckled and continued working on my essay. He glared at me, but I couldn't have a care in the world. Well not in my world, at least.

At the end of the lesson I quickly finished off my essay and handed it in and dashed off to my next class.

I couldn't get far, since I can't dash very quickly. In fact, I just walked really fast. I made a pit stop at the bathroom.

So I quickly checked my appearance. I splashed my face with water, hoped for the best and walked out. I missed a period becausd I got horribly lost and then it was lunch.

I headed to the cafeteria and saw Ava and Bella looking for me. When they saw me they ran to me. Ava pulled me into a hug, (which I was in desperate need of) and Bella joined in the hug. Bella glanced at me, "Where were you?"

When we sat down Aiden was ignoring me as I was him. Connor was about to ask when Bella grabbed  his food and ate some of it. Which caused a "Bella!" From Connor.

But then you get Liam, "Uhm Milea, where were you?" I smiled, "I just got lost but it's all good." He stared at me for a bit but nodded.

I ate my lunch and avoided Aiden's stares. The banter around the table today was the funniest thing to watch. I started crying again, but of laughter.

Ava and Bella were discussing the concept of 'cramps' and 'cravings' when it came to that time of the month.

Liam who seemed very fascinated, pulled out a notepad and took notes. Whereas Connor was chilling and constantly reminding us that "He knows these things."

I even saw Aiden crack a smirk but it quickly fanished as we locked eyes. I rolled my eyes at his childish behaviour.

The bell rang and I had a double Bio. When we got there Mr Coleman was discussing lab partners.

To my suprise, I landed up with Aiden.

Yay.

I decided to check out the school's library since I have nothing better to do with my life.

I walked inside and I was stunned. This library is huge. I quickly disappeared into an aisle. Eventually I found a few books to read.

I was so engrossed in a book that I didn't realise the librarian was busy glaring at me.

I closed the book and stared up at her. "Oh I'm so sorry ma'am. Am I bothering you?" She rolled her eyes, "I want to close the library and you're holding me up." I nodded and quickly packed all the books away.

I bid the librarian an apology and a bye and headed out. I checked the time and freaked out when I saw the amount of missed calls and messages I had received from my parents.

I forgot to let my mom know that I was planning on staying at school. I quickly dialled her number.

She picked up, "Milea Jordans! Where have you been?! I have tried calling you! Messaging you and you ignore me! I'm not sure how you're getting home as you know dad and I had to rush for his work dinner!"

I sighed, okay now I can finally talk. "I'm sorry mom, I was at the school library and lost track of time." My mom sighed.

I saw that Ava was still here. "Uhm, mom I'm going to catch a lift with my friend." My mom took a moment. "Are you sure that that won't be an inconvenience to her?" I sighed, "Hope not. Gotta go bye." "Bye."

I quickly ran to Ava. "Ava!! Waittt!!" She chuckled and turned around. "Yes, Milea?" I painted and put my hands on my knees.

Ava laughed, "Milea, you ran 2 metres and you're painting as if you ran a marathon." I stared up at her, "I forgot to mentally prepare myself that I was going to run." Ava burst out laughing again. "What would you like to ask me love?" I nodded, "Oh right. Would you mind dropping me off at home? But if you can't that's okay too a-" Ava cut me off, "Honey, I honestly don't mind. Let's go." I smiled and hugged her.

I directed her to my house and to my surprise she lives a few streets away from me. Since I was home alone, Ava offered to stay until my parents arrived as her parents were not home either.

I smiled and agreed. We called the pizza man, while we did our homework.

The evening mainly consisted of us eating pizza,laughing and just getting to know each other.
