~Do you want to go an adventure now or after tea?~
-Alice In Wonderland-Next Morning-
I woke up to my mother opening up my curtains. "Sleep well honey?" I yawned and stretched. "Yeah, and you?" My mom nodded.
She sat down next to me, "So did you unpack the boxes?" Milea sighed. "I hid them away." My mom was about to lecture, then I ran my hand through my hair. I spoke softly,"Mom, please not now." My Mom sighed and nodded, "Some day,Milea. It still hurts, a lot. Each day we get over it,a little bit at a time."
I started tearing up and nodded. She teared up at the sight of me tearing up. She then wraps me in a hug, which I gladly except. She caresses my hair as I cried.
Once I pulled away my mom wiped the tears from my eyes and kissed my forehead. "So,your dad and I were thinking of driving around today. Want to tag along?" I smiled weakly and nodded. She smiled and closed my door gently.
I freshened up and settled on my above the knee causal black dress. I paired it with my white converse and blew dry my damp hair. I let my brunette curls cascade down my back. I added a bit of mascara, foundation and lipgloss. Threw on my shades, grabbed my phone and I walked out.Downstairs I was met with my parents who were laughing together. My mom saw me, winked and headed to the car.
I grabbed an apple and walked out with my dad. Once we were in the car I glanced up from my phone. "So,where are we heading?"
My mom glanced at my dad, "Well, Mark recommend this cafè down the road." I nodded, "What's it called?" My dad gave his phone to my mom and she looked for the message. "Tea Gardens." I nodded. "Cool."
Once we arrived there, it was an antique cafè. It was so beautiful. We sat down and had some tea and cakes.
After that they hopped back into the car. As they drove I saw some places that I made a mental note to check out.
We then went to the grocery store. I furrowed my eyebrows, "Really. This is what were sight seeing." Dad chuckled, "Well if we don't pit stop here you can sight see for food in the fridge."
I laughed and nodded, "I guess that's fair." Before we could even get out the car mom was off into the grocery shop.
Dad sighed, "Some things will never change huh." I laughed, "Mmm. Well at least this makes her happy." Dad chuckled and nodded.
He glanced at me, "Milea, are you sure you're okay with all of this?" I nodded."Yeah, this is good. I mean my life was getting a big polluted back home. I needed a fresh start, and now I have one. All thanks to you." He smiled at me and kissed my cheek.
He then smirked,"Race you to the entrance." I smirked, "Last one there is a rotten egg." Dad laughed, "1..2..3..Go!"
We ran and ignored the weird stares from the people. I won. I smirked at my dad.
He frowned, "I guess I'm the rotten egg." I laughed and nodded. Once we stepped inside the grocer it was packed with people.
Once we were inside the grocer we spotted my mom. She was to busy looking at apples to see us walking towards her.
When she glanced up at us she furrowed her eyebrows. "Alec, what happened to you? You're panting as if you ran a marathon."
My dad smirked at my mom, "Claire-bear, your just so breath taking and this is the end result." My mom laughed. I rolled my eyes.
After we went shopping we headed to Starbucks. Here's the best part, since this town isn't that huge we went to the tourist attractions.
There really wasn't much therefore we got through all of them.
When we arrived back at home I collapsed onto my bed. Mom barged in with my school close in hand.
I sat up and scanned the outfit. Mom smiled, "You like?" I shrugged, "Yeah, I can get used to it."
It was a white buttoned shirt. With a maroon pleated skirt. Paired with long white socks and black school shoes. (Fortunately for me I'm wearing the guy's type of shoe. You know, sneakers are my thing.) What really complimens the look is the grey cardigan with the school logo on it.
Mom hangs up the school clothes, ready for me to slip on tomorrow morning.
I go downstairs with her and eat dinner. After dinner I freshened up and hopped into bed.
I have a brand new chapter to start tomorrow.
