~There are all kinds of love in this world but never the same love twice~
-F. Scott FitzgeraldAIDEN'S POV
I see that she feels uncomfortable, but she's respecting me by leaving the conversation where I left it. I appreciate that.
I can't deny the feelings that are building up inside of me for Milea. I'm falling for her, slowly but surely.
I mean she's the only girl who got to find out more about who I am. It took years for me to open up to Bell, and even longer to the guys and Ava. Funny, I never even told Hailey about my real dad. Glad I didn't.
It's the simple things about Milea that fascinate me. For example, when I make her laugh and she flashes her dimples at me. Ah, my heart leaps, skips a beat you name it.
Or when she picks up my ridiculous time of the morning phonecalls. Or that she can see right through me, like now for example. Her heart is so caring and loving that it's unbelievable.
"Aiden? Are you okay?" I smiled, "Yeah, never been better." She furrowed her eyebrows then smiled.
I glanced at her, "Do you want to go to our spot?" She smiled and nodded.
I watched how the wind blew through her ponytail. Mind you, we're still in uniform. Poor Milea had to sit down in her skirt.
Looks like she read my mind.
MILEA'S POV
I sigh, "These skirts are such a restriction. Like I honestly hate sitting like this." He chuckles, "I can see you hate this position. Plus, how do you girls deal in the wind?"
Oh my word. He gets me. He understands the struggle.
I lift up my eyebrows, "Honestly I don't even know. But it's terrible, especially when you're carrying books." He nodded, "Exactly."
I smile, "I'll never forget that one day back at my old school. We had to change classes. So as I came downstairs with my friend, the wind picked up. She literally dropped her books to squat and hold her skirt down. It was crazy."
Aiden burst out laughing.
AIDEN'S POV
We continued talking. Then you know what happened. Comfortable silence.
We got up as we were about to leave. I glanced at her, I took in her features. She's beautiful.
She was looking out at the view. Then her eyes locked with mine. Was she feeling it too? I guess there's one way to find out.
I take a step towards her. She doesn't move away. I take one more step towards her. I'm so close to her, that I can smell her coconut scent.
My hands find themselves on the side of her face. My eyes never leaving hers. I lean in closer to her.
I kiss her.
Let me be cheesy because I have no other way of elaborating right now.
My body feels like it's on fire. Her arms wrap themselves around my waist. This position was so comfortable.
MILEA'S POV
I see that he was getting closer. I didn't want to back away. Not going to lie, glad I didn't.
When he kissed me, I've never felt this kind of connection before. I mean I know I shouldn't compare this with Levi but Levi couldn't even come close to this.
We break apart. I stared at him. He stared back. I then cracked a smile which he returned. He then wrapped me in his arms.
I feel safe here.
We then hop back into the car and head to my house. I glance at him, "So what happens now?" He takes a moment. "Honestly, I don't know. But we'll figure it out."
I smile and nodd. He smiles to himself. "Why are you smiling?" He turned to me, "I just kissed Milea Jordans. I feel healthier."
I face palmed myself and laughed. "Did you know that, you released a hormone called-" He cut me off, "Oxytocin." I smiled. "Someone's been studying." He laughed. "You see, I just needed a practical experiment."
I laughed, "I'd probably give you full marks for that experiment." He laughed, "Ah great." I nodded.
We then burst out laughing. When we got to my house. I glanced at Aiden, "Thank you for today." He smiled, "I should be thanking you. So thank you." I kissed his cheek and hopped outside the car.
As soon as I walked inside I saw Ava and Bella baking with my mom.
No, I'm blushing. Shoot now they're going to ask me. Ava smirked, "How was your time with Aiden?" My mom smirked along. Bella started smiling. "Milea, why are you blushing?" I shrugged, "Because I'm allowed to blush."
Ava rolled her eyes, "Okay so what happened?" I smiled. "Aiden may or may not have kissed me." Bella and Ava screamed while my mom started jumping up and down.
I burst out laughing. Oh no, this is going to be a long evening.
