~I can't carry the weight of your regret~
-E.HAIDEN'S POV
-A Couple Days Later-
I'm still digesting all that Milea has told me. Gosh, that girl went through a lot.
I decided that I want to try and fix things between the guys and I. As for Levi, I need to take time to forgive him. I cannot just forgive him overnight but I will forgive him, eventually.
I head over to Liam's house first. His mom wraps me in a hug while his dad pats my back. "Haven't seen you in a while son." I chuckle.
I head up to Liam's room and I knock before walking inside.
I see he was busy with his push ups, but he got up when he saw me.
I sat down on his bed,"Before I found out about Levi and Milea I was actually wondering why you seemed so off." Liam scratched the back of his neck. "Yeah, sorry about that. Listen Aiden, Levi still cares deeply for Milea. I tried to discourage him to 'compete' with you but he didn't listen." I clenched my jaw and nodded.
Liam sighed, "Bro, I'm never this sentimental but I'm torn. I'm literally in the middle between both of you." I sigh and run my hand through my hair. "I'm sorry man, I honestly don't know what to say."
Liam chuckled, "Yeah and now I still need to apologise to Ava. I took my anger out on her." I chuckled, "Best of luck with that." Liam nods.
I get up and despite him being sweaty I gave him a bro hug.
Next stop, Connor's.
His mom was home, his dad is out the country for work. She hugged me and then I ran up to Connor's room.
He was currently playing his drums in the room. I chuckled as I could hear him as I was walking upstairs.
I opened the door and I stood in front of him. He took out his ear piece and got up.
He sat down at his desk while I sat on his bed. "Aiden, what's up?" I furrowed my eyebrows, "You're not mad at me?" He shook his head. "Nope, I'm not. Besides, Levi should've told us sooner." I nod. He glanced at me, "Do you know why they broke up?" I nod. "I can't just share that though, it took Milea quite a while to tell me." Connor nodded.
"Have you told her your backstory?" I nod, "Parts of it. Right now, I don't want to focus on myself. I just want to focus on her." Connor smiled. "Bro, you're honestly falling so hard for her." I chuckle. "Yeah."
I was about to go to Levi's house but I couldn't bring myself to go.
MILEA'S POV
I feel guilty. You want to know why? Well, it's the fact that Aiden knew my darkest secrets. Whereas the girls just know the basic things, they don't even know about Matthew.
I mean I really want to tell them, I'm just waiting for the right moment. Pathetic excuse, I know.
I guess my moment came sooner than expected. Ava and Bell just barged into my room.
I've said it before, these girls are honestly family. So they come and go as they please.
Ava glanced at me, she looks upset. I grab her hand, "What's wrong?" She sighed, "Liam just snapped at me for no reason and he has just been so distant." I sigh, "That's weird." Bell nods, "Especially for Liam."
Bell smirks, "What's happening between you and Aiden?" I sigh, "Honestly, I'm not sure what we are. Wait did I tell you guys? I can't remember if I told you that he kissed me."They stared at each other and giggled, "Oh Milea, girl you've told us." I sighed, "The other night, I confessed somethings to him." Bell furrowed her eyebrows, "Your feelings for him?" I shook my head.
Ava grabbed my hand, "Well what did you tell him?"
I trust these girls, they deserve to know.
So I tell them.
Ava was crying while Bell was just staring at me with shock. Ava hugged me, "Oh my word! You've been through so much. I love you girl." I chuckled as I wiped the tears from my eyes and hug her.
I stared at Bell, "You mad at me?" She shook her head, "No, gosh I'm trying to absorb all that you've said. Gosh babe, I'm so sorry come over here."
We stayed in a group hug. I honestly just love this hug, it represents our unity.
Bell glanced at Ava, "Aiden is a lucky guy M. He's got a smart, strong, and brave girl." I smiled, "Thank you."
My mom walked in with pizza and snacks. You could guess what we did next right?
Unexpected sleepover, Netflix and chill.
