~It's the little moments like this in life that I live for~
-UnknownMILEA'S POV
I feel someone's presence next to me. I glance up, and I had to look twice as I was shocked.
Aiden.
He glanced at me sympatheticly, "You look like you need a tissue." I sniffled and smiled at his obvious statement.
He handed me a few tissues, I croaked, "Aiden, what are you doing here?" He chuckled, "Well techincally, I should be asking you that question. As this is my usual spot."
Oh, I didn't know that. I feel guilty for being on his spot. "Sorry." He smiled, "Don't worry about it, although can you keep this spot a secret from the others for me?" I nod.
He scratched the back of his head nervously. "If I may, why exactly are you up her? Most importantly, why are you crying?"
I sighed and stared at the view. Wow, it's actually pretty breath taking. I guess I was crying to much to realise.
Well, you can't lie to him Milea. Might as well tell him the truth, or at least part of it.
I glanced at him, he was patiently waiting for my reply. "Well, I haven't even told the girls this yet. But my brother passed away two years ago. I recently, by recently I mean an hour ago, I found this letter. It was in my box that I hadn't unpacked yet, it's taken me years to open up that box."
Weird, it feels better getting it off your chest. Funny though, Aiden would be the last person I'd think of to break the news to.
He was speechless, I could see it. I quite enjoyed the silence, it gave me a chance to absorb the scenery and to get lost in my thoughts.
AIDEN'S POV
What?! She lost her brother. Gosh and I thought I had it bad.
The fact that it was two years ago, makes it even worse. The wound is still fresh.
Wow, she's a strong girl. One would never say though, she seems like the type of girl who had a perfect life.
But then again, the ones with the 'perfect life' have the deepest problems or issues.
I analysed her features. She was breath taking. Despite her face being all pink and blotchy she still had some sort of beauty radiating off from her.
"I'm really sorry about your brother Milea." She turned to me and smiled. "I cannot even compare to feel how you feel."
She glanced at me, "Why you up here? You opening a letter to?" I chuckled bitterly, "Afraid so." She averted her gaze to me and furrowed her eyebrows.
"Please don't tell the rest this yet. My dad wrote a letter to me saying how sorry he was about the past and that he wants to rebuild our relationship. Long story short about my past, my parents divorced because of him and now my mom's remarried to a man I'd be proud to call my father. Even though his my step-dad."
She stared at me with so much sympathy and admiration. "I'm sorry Aiden. That must be so hectic for you."
I nodded, "Yeah it is." She then did something that I didn't expect her to do. She placed her head on my shoulder.
What was stranger was that I put my head against hers.
MILEA'S POV
Here we are, just so comfortable and happy with each other.
I really didn't expect anything like that coming from Aiden.
We sat and watched the Sun set. It was a beautiful range of orange and red. My phone started buzzing and see it's my mom.
Aiden chuckles, "You should probably take that." I nodded. "Hi mom."
I waited for a few seconds before..."Milea! Where are you? You've been gone for two hours already, we all know you're not that fit! Wh-" I cut her off, "Mom, don't worry. I'm fine. I'm on my way home now." She sighed, "Okay Millie."
Aiden chuckled, "Your mom's amazing. I love how she yelled we all know you're not that fit." I chuckled and hit his arm.
He got up and he reached out his hand to pull me up. We then strolled back home.
As we were walking we bumped into Levi. He stared at us. Confusion evident in his features.
He then stared at my eyes, which were probably still red and blotchy. He furrowed his eyebrows, "You okay Jordans?"
Jordans.
~Flashback~
Today was our one year anniversary. We were currently strolling along the beachside. Levi picked me up in his arms and walked into the ocean.
I squealed, "No, don't throw me in. Leviii, I just did my hair. Please put me down!!" He chuckled, "As you wish."
With that said he dropped me in the water. I gasped and got up and ran after him.
He laughed, I then held his waist. He turned around and picked me up once again and brought me to the sand. I started drying myself. He then placed a towel on the ground. I sat down and he took off his jacket and gave it to me.
He then pulled me into his arms and kissed me. He stared at me. "I love you Jordans."
~Flashback over~
Aiden gently grabbed my hand, "Milea. You okay?" I then stared at Levi, "I'm fine." He nodded. I stared at Aiden and pulled on his hand a bit, "We should go." He nodded and clenched his jaw at Levi.
