~It takes grace to remain kind in cruel situations~
-Rupi KaurAIDEN'S POV
I quickly wrap up my Calculus work and pack away my stuff. I glance at the clock. Two minutes till I can leave.
As I wait patiently I roll my eyes at the girls that keep winking at me. I watched how one girl rolled up her skirt so high but soon looked away because I have better things to think of.
The bell rings and I walk out of class. As I'm walking I see Hailey at my locker. I smirk. "Hey babe, miss me?" She chuckled, "Well of course."
I gently pushed her against my locker as I kissed her. She ran her hands through my hair and I held onto her waist.
I heard Bella was next to me putting her books away in her locker. Which was soon slammed shut which made me break away from Hailey.
I glared at Bella who had her back facing me with the middle finger right up in the air. Hailey chuckled, "Oh Bell." I stared at her and got my stuff.
She kissed my cheek before disappearing into the crowd. I then walked out and saw Connor and Bell by my car. While Liam just stood staring at his phone.
I chuckled. Poor guy. "Hey guys." They all looked up. Bella rolled her eyes while Connor and Liam waved.
Bella stared at me, "When will the two of you officially end? I can't stand the sight of that girl." I roll my eyes.
She climbs into her car after bidding us all a goodbye and drives off.
The guys and I hop into my car and we drive off. I furrow my eyebrows at Liam who keeps smiling at his phone.
"Who are you taking to you mate?" Liam looked up at me, "Milea. She's telling me that these memes remind her of me." I roll my eyes at the name.
Connor sees me, "Bro, I don't understand your problem with her. She's actually so kind." I sighed, "Cool. When last have you guys spoken to Levi?"
Liam chuckled, "Fam it's been so long! Can you call him now?"
Connor chuckled, " Yeah, phone the old chum." I chuckled and put my Bluetooth on to connect to my car. I dialled Levi's number and to my suprise he immediately picks up.
"Whatsupp bro?" Liam and Connor shout in sync, "Eyyyy brooo!!" Levi burst out laughing, "Dude it's been forever since I have seen you guys."
Aiden chuckled, "When you coming back?" Levi took a moment, "Uhm give me a sec just checking...we come back on Thursday."
Aiden smiled, "Awesome. I'm so excited to see you." Levi chuckled, "Yeah me too. Anyway I gotta go, chat to you guys soon." A chorus of "Bye" filled the car and then the conversation eneded.
I dropped Liam and Connor off at their houses and then headed to Emily's pre-school.
Emily is my little sister. She's five years old. She's so beautiful, sweet, and vibrant. I pull up at her school and walk inside. I kindly greet all the elderly woman who work there as I make my way to Emily's class.
When I walk inside I see she's already standing by the door waiting. I chuckle when she runs into my arms as I bent down to get her bag.
"Aiden! I missed you!" I kissed her forehead, "I missed you too Em. Did you have a good day?" She smiled and nodded.
We walked out hand in hand and got into my car. I glanced at her as she put on her seatbelt. "Em, you want food?" She smiled and nodded. "Aiden I want a hamburger." Aiden smiled, "Me too. Let's go."
After that meal we headed home and I saw my mom's car. I let Emily walk inside first and I see my mom in the kitchen cooking.
She sighed as we walked in, "I was starting to get worried. I was about to call you Aiddie. You guys hungry?" I watched Emily giggle and I smiled. "No thanks, we're fool." Emily and I quickly rushed out the kitchen. "Aiden! Come back here!" I sighed and walked into the kitchen, "Yes mom." She smirked, "I don't even want to know where you took her. How was school." I nodded. "Good, Levi is coming back on Thursday." My mom smiled, "Oh, you boys planning something for him?" I shrugged, "I'm actually not sure. I need to check with the girls. Maybe they're planning something." My mom nodded.
Just then Emily's nanny Patricia came inside. She grinned at me, "Aiden. Where did you take my princess today?" Aiden smirked. "For us to know and for you to find out." She smacked my head with her cloth and went upstairs and I chuckled.
Just then my dad walked in. Well step dad. Richard Grey. "Hey son, where's Em?" I smiled, "She's in her room I think." He nodded, "I spoke to Levi's dad today he says they coming on Thursday." I nodded. "Yeah I spoke to Levi today." My dad smiled.
He saw my mom and he hugged her. He then kissed her cheek. "Mrs Layla Grey, did you miss me today?" She chuckled and kissed his cheek.
I smiled.
She deserves this.
