Liliana's POV
Today was the day of my fight. This one is actually a hundred times harder than my fight with Reece. This guy is over seven-feet tall and over well-over 250 lbs. I don't want to forfeit the fight. I need to win. I haven't lost a fight and I don't intend to start now. I need to prove to myself that if Chris (my ex) gets out of prison and tries to find me again that I can fight him and stop him. I need to be stronger than him.
I get into a nice long hot shower and shave everywhere and soap up. I change into my fighting clothes and put on some jean shorts over top of my spanks. I also put on a white tight long-sleeve shirt. I did this so I can easily take off the clothes and don't have to worry about changing and drunks coming in. The only reason I changed yesterday was because I didn't know about the fight till about thirty minutes before it started.
By the time that I got out of the shower and dressed, I only had enough time to grab dinner and head over to the bar. We normally pick food up from this family restaurant Mamma Santa's. It's an italian restaurant. It's about a thirty minute drive and then about a forty-five minute drive from there to the bar.
When I walk into the restaurant, I see the owner Riley.
"Hey, the usual? For two?" Riley asks.
"Of course. Thank you."
"Of course! Have a lovely day. Your meal is free today."
"And why is that?"
"Because you two have been here since the day this place opened and you come here at least once a week and order the same exact thing. I'm surprised you still look the way you do." Riley is an older woman but, has a heart of gold. Juliana and I love coming here because the food tastes amazing and because we want to make sure this place stays up and running for a long time.
There wasn't very much traffic so, I was able to speed a little and get there about 45 minutes before Juliana and I's shifts.
"Hey, you're here early. I have something to tell you."
"What's wrong, Juliana?"
"Well, Lorenzo is stopping by to watch your fight with Adrien and he asked me for a favor..." Juliana trails off.
"And what favor would that be?"
"He asks me if he could take you to Santos and I agreed because he told me the reason. And you know the other cute guy that was next to him, Adrien, well, I get to hang out with him until you guys get back."
"So, you agreed to help him with this favor because you get to hang out with Adrien?"
"Yes?"
"Fine. When is this happening?"
"Tomorrow. He'll pick you up around noon and Adrien will drive his car over and pick me up at the same time. Adrien and I are going back to his house for protection and to hang out until you two are back."
