23. Hakuna Matata (Part 3)

K's POV

 

V: Kaye, what happen?

Kaye just sitting there, crying her eyes out. She looks like a helpless child na parang inagawan ng laruan. My description might be an understatement.

And Vice he's there kneeling in front of Kaye.

He hold on Kaye’s face using his two hands.

V: Kaye, look, you can tell me what you're feeling. Let's just assume na we're like before, bestfriends.

Kaye looked at Vice and it seems that Vice has magic that makes Kaye suddenly stop from crying.

Kaye: Vice, may problema ba sa akin? Bakit parang lahat kayo ayaw sa akin?  

Kaye finally speaks.

V: Kaye hindi naman sa ganun..

Kaye: Una, ikaw tapos ngayon si Paul Jake.

V: Kaye, magkaiba yun. Maybe, yung Paul Jake na yun has his own reasons. Yung sa akin, diba pinaliwanag ko naman.

Kaye: Parehas lang yun Vice. Parehas nyo lang akong iniwan. Am I ugly? Masama ba ugali ko? Am I not good enough?

 By that, Kaye started to cry again.

The view was so in sync with the moment. They are on the left end part of the island. Malayo sa mga tao. Tahimik at tanging ang tunog ng alon at ng hangin lamang ang maririnig mo. The sun is still shining bright since it's just 2 in the afternoon. Kaye was still wearing her white dress na dapat suot nya sa kasal though ang buhok at make up nya ay kalat kalat na.

And I am standing not so far from them.

V: Listen, di ka panget, maganda ka at sexy pa. Mabait ka at sobrang masiyahin. And I admit, before, nung highschool days, never akong nakaramdam ng dull moment. Masaya tayo palagi. Lastly, you're more than enough, Kaye. It's just that you deserve more than Paul Jake, more than me.

Di ko kinaya yung sumunod na nagyari. Kaye grabs Vice and kiss him... on the lips, torridly.

Vice responded. Hard. Deep.

.

.

.

.

The moment he disappeared at my sight my imagination never stops rolling.

And then, reality snaps back when I saw Vice on the last step of the stairs.

Yes, nandito ako sa may veranda ng cottage namin. I decided na magpaiwan kila Vhong, Billy and Anne who chose to spend the whole day exploring the island.
