*Shimizu Hada's POV:
I waited outside, in the autumn weather. I grunted as I shifted my body around, trying to increase body temperature.
A cool chill brushed against my skin, causing goosebumps to grow like tiny mountains. It felt like the Mother Nature herself was hated me too.
My eyes went to the cheese bus that was approaching and stopped in front of me. The stench of its engine arose into my nostrils, causing me to scrunch my nose upward.
Then the doors opened.
"Here we go" I mumbled to myself, inhaling the crisp hair.
I stepped into the bus. Walking down, my eyes danced around, trying to find a seat.
I overheard a girl mutter "Ugh, I can't stand them, experimented losers."
"Do you think he's evil?" I heard some junior ask another, his eyes piercing the side of my face.
"Don't be so loud, he might use his powers on you", the other said in a hushed tone.
I finally found an empty seat near the middle of the bus.
"I'm scared of experimented people, like what if they all decide to destroy San Francisco or something?" a girl whispered to her friend next to her.
"I know girl, like why don't they just get rid of those people? They could cause serious destruction. They are usually the ones committing crimes and murders" her friend replied.
I hope she realized that a few bad apples do not prove the whole tree is bad.
"Nobody likes the experimented!" some guy yelled from the back of the bus, followed by a chuckle. Clearly, he wanted to get a reaction out of me.
"Shh, stop Brad, he'll hear you and use his powers on you" his girlfriend whispered to him.
"But Lexi, Shimizu's a punk. He won't do jack shit if I mess with him. He's a wimp!" Brad replied, loud enough for everyone to hear.
The bus driver didn't even care to say something. She just kept driving as if nothing was happening.
I bet even if there was a brutal fight on the bus, she still would've kept driving and not pay any attention to it.
I rolled my eyes and placed my earphones into my ears. I blasted some heavy metal.
Next thing I knew, I felt several balled up pieces of paper repeatedly hit the back of my head, but every time I looked back, people were acting as if they weren't paying me any attention.
I slowly turned back around.
It happened again and I quickly turned around for the second time.
Everyone was talking to their friends or looking away.
"Stupid bastards" I mumbled under my breath as I slouched down in my seat. The paper wouldn't have been able to hit me that way.
But a few moments later, one bounced off the top of my head. That's when I snapped.
"Can you stop throwing paper at me?!" I turned around and yelled at Brad.
He just glanced at me.
"I have no idea what he is talking about. I guess his powers are making him even weirder" Brad snickered to another boy before they both laughed. The other students laughed too.
I swear, those guys in the back section of the bus were full of it. I bet if I used my powers on them, I'll shut every one of them right up.
But, violence is never the answer, and I even promised to my parents that I won't ever use my powers on another person. You can't fight wrong with wrong.
